Deadness Approaches

Chapter 4(The Next Day)

The students woke up and ate the school breakfast that they got from the supply room yesterday. "What should we do now?" asked Himari "I guess lets do whatever we want just please be careful and I'm going to find my other friends." Rei said "Can I come with you bestie?" Himari asked Rei. "Sure". As the other students stayed in the classrooms Rei and Himari ventured into the vents hoping to find other survivors and maybe some supplies too.

As Rei looked down from each vent, he spotted some people in a classroom. They looked alright and they weren't twitching and turning like a zombie so Rei opened the vent and poked his head through the vent to see if the people were alright. There were 3 of them. The people didn't move,speak or notice Rei. So Rei made a little sound to get their attention and the people looked up, none of them looked harmed but, they looked at Rei and just said "What are you doing here?" Rei told them that they were gonna pick up survivors and take them to their area but the students refused and just said no. So Rei just kept venturing. While venturing they managed to find a broom that looked handy as a weapon so Rei and Himari went down there and grabbed the broom. Together they broke the mop part of the broom and checked to find any weapons they could use, which they also found a police handgun so they took that and the ammo they needed and went back into the vents. As Rei ventured he found a classroom that looked like his friends and looked alright so Rei went down to check and it was his 3 friends! "Rei, you found us!" said Sakura. "Is anybody else with you?" asked Miyu. "Himari is with us, come with us so we won't ever be separated," said Rei. "Alright!" said Akira "But I gotta get my knife" as she and Sakura and Miyu went up the vents to travel back to Rei's classroom. But, Akira insisted before going back to the area they would travel downstairs to the basement for more supplies. Sakura was iffy about it but, then they all agreed so they got out of the vents and went to the staircase carefully.

As Rei and his friends were going down stairs carefully a zombie spotted them on the staircase and tried to lunge at them but Akira stabbed him before he could try and bite Sakura. Then they just continued to walk to the basement. After fighting some of the zombies in their way. They finally made it to the basement where they ventured for more supplies, they managed to put a couple of water bottles in Sakura and Miyu's backpack. Before they saw a horde of zombies charging at them. Since Miyu was really pettie she wasn't able to run that quick so Rei had to give Miyu's backpack for Himari to carry while Akira and Rei fought some of the zombies off before closing the staircase door and running all the way back to the top floor.

The students were out of breath but hadn't lost all their energy yet as they traveled all the way back to 805 while also fighting off the zombies. As soon as they came back they knocked on the door and entered the room. "We found 3 new survivors," said Himari. "We also found 3 more in another room but they refused to come with us so we just left them there. "Wait, what did they look like?" asked Mina. "There were 3 of them, one looked like Kuroko, another looked like Madoka, and one looked like Natsuki." "YOU just left them there, MY FRIENDS?" said Mina. "They didn't want to come so we just left," said Himari. "I'M going in there now," said Mina. "Be Careful, want me to come with you?" said Rei as Mina climbed in the vents to find her friends. "Okay please lead me to them," said Mina.
