FIRST BATTLE (PART TWO)

"WHAT'S HAPPENING TO THORS HAMMER? IT... IT SEEMS TO HAVE GROWN VEINS!"

The hammer looked to have broken but then veins and chunks of what looked like chunks of meat in it as well.

"I don't know what's happening right now but that does not look good," Asta said as he got into a fighting stance.

But then once again Thor did something unexpected. He took his gloves off.

I looked over at the old man, who simply looked back with that same goofy look.

'Damn, so Mjölnir couldn't handle Thor and his gloves were like a seal? If that's the case then Asta... Even if you have Anti-magic your gonna have to make some magic happen,'

Asta Charged in again. It didn't seem like Thor's speed has changed but you could tell the difference in strength even from back here. Each swing was like having a huge flock of wind come right in your face, and I was all the way in the back.

Asta was still managing to keep up by using Ki to see where he would attack next. Then Thor wound up his hammer and threw it. 

Asta was once again not able to dodge fully so it hit his arm, and his whole arm got blasted off. 

"Liebe!"

His arm then came right back as he charged in. What he didn't know though was the fact that Mjölnir was coming back around like a boomerang.

He went for a slash and Thor jumped backward. Just when it seemed like it was about to hit him, Asta placed a sword behind his head and blocked it.

Thor was clearly caught off guard because Asta was then able to get another clean hit on him.

"Your hammers alive! So of course I could able to sense it was Ki!"

'Probably should have kept that to yourself but ok,' I thought

The hammer then fell to the ground right behind Asta. It seemed like Anti-magic had a deal in stopping it from continuing from coming back to Thor.

Asta then attempted to pick it up to no avail.

"Wha? Why's this thing so heavy?!"

He tried to lift it but still couldn't.

"This is my weapon, of course, it wouldn't choose someone else as a master,"

He then kicked Asta hard enough to push him off the hammer and then lifted it with one hand.

"Tch, well I guess getting rid of your weapon is a no-go!"

Asta then attempted to charge in again but this time things didn't go quite as planned. When he flew in he got completely slammed by the hammer before he could even react.

He had his back against the wall before he even knew it and had blood dripping out of his mouth.

"Damn... My arms did get broken again,"

The human side was silent while the god's side was cheering. Asta's arms were practically useless and I could imagine that some of his ribs were shattered as well.

"But...my friends are counting on me to come home. If this was enough to make me give up then I shouldn't be up here in the first place,"

He then summoned the Katana in his mouth. 

"Liebe, if it comes down to it we're using that,"

He then used Anti-Magic to fling himself forward. Mjölnir had some magic in it so it was attracted to that. So when Thor wound up everyone thought this was the end, that this would be 1-0 to the gods. Then before we knew it Thor was on a kneel with Asta laying facedown.
