"I got Kankri..." you mumbled. You... Weren't really sure what to think about that. Sure, you liked him, and sure, you wanted to go out with him, but you didn't think you could handle seven minutes alone with him. He'd probably think your confession was some kind of trigger and start lecturing you about the importance of respecting others' boundaries.

You stood up and kind of dragged yourself into the closet. Kankri was pushed by Mituna after you, being told, "You need to get shomeone elshe to lescture!"

You both stood there awkwardly until you smiled, the perfect idea having popped into your head.

"Hey, Kankri?" you asked in a sweet little voice.

"Yes?"

"Would this-" you pushed your chest against his, "be considered a trigger?"

He blushed and started to breathe heavily. "I-I suppose... C-can you... Maybe get off me?"

"Hmm? You want me to get you off?"

"W-what?! No, that's not what I said! Y-you should realize that this is triggering me!"

"Oh? Really? What about... This?" You rubbed his horns roughly, trying not to fall down from laughter.

"A-auhhha!" Kankri groaned awkwardly and shuddered. "(Name)... P-please... S-stop..."

"Aww, why?" You pouted and backed up a little, but kept your hands on his shoulders.

"B-because they're about to open the door... And I'm afraid seeing us in a state of romantic involvement may serve as a trigger to someone..."

"Oh... Just one more thing though!" You bounced up and kissed him gently on the lips. "I really like you!" you whispered quickly in his ear. "Trigger or no?"

"G-good trigger... I, um, really like you too, (Name)..." Kankri blushed again and smiled slightly.

"Awesome!"

You both heard the telling click of the door as Dave unlocked it. Kankri resumed his stern demeanor, but couldn't hold it as you pecked him on the cheek. He laughed and grinned down at you just as Dave opened the door. "Woah, Vantas, you're smiling!" Meenah yelled in shock.

"You see! It is a trigger!"
