I ran towards the multi coloured building. "Yo! Where ya goin?" A man with electric blue eyes and grey dusty hair halted in front of me. "I'm going to that building!" I pushed him out of the way. "Careful! The building is going to-" The was a boom and a crash. The once beautiful building was now covered in scarlet flames. I sprinted the remaining hundred meters to the building and ran in the lobby. "Winter!" I called out. "Jay!" There was no answer. I pressed a button on the intercom in my right ear. "Notch! The building is going to fall!" There was a pause and suddenly a croaky voice replied. "Goddamit Felix! I can't get to you now! There is a problem with-"There was a small scream in the backround of the intercom. "Uh! I'll send Dove on the case! Get to them, Now! "I flinched at is tone. A small piece of flaming wool landed next to me. The building was collapsing.
I ran through a random door. "Winter!? Wake up!" I saw a small boy crouched under a fallen, flaiming log. He grabbed the girl and ran through a different door. "Felix! Follow them!" A tall girl with green eyes, grey hair and a pixel smile plastered on her face was behind me. I sighed in relief. "We have to et them out." Dove shouted over the flames. I nodded. "Let's go-," A piece of wool fell from the roof, blocking the door. I grabbed Dove's hand and ran out a door opposite to the door I came in.
"Ahh!" I ran down a small corridor, following the noise. Dove and I skidded to a halt. "Dead end." She admitted, defeated. Looking around the blazing corridor, I spotted a black tool. "Felix!" The flames were coming closer. I sprinted towards the flames, towards the tool. "Felix! Watch out!" A loose piece of the roof came falling down. I grabbed the blackened wooden tool and ran back to Dove. "What were you doing?!" She asked, half scared, half angry. "This." I drove the tool into the green and yellow wool. One piece broke. "Felix! Hurry up!"
The flames were coming closer. I drove the pickaxe in the second piece of wool. "Dammit!" The tool broke. "Ahh!" The flames were here. I punched the wool and it gave way. "Dove!" I grabbed her waist and we ran out of the corridor.
The room we were in was quiet and dark. Mostly dark. Dove smiled and so did I. The walls of this room was charcoal, it will give way soon, but not now. "Help!" We turned to see the ghostly image of Jay and an unconscious Winter. "She's dying." Dove grabbed the limp Winter and I grabbed Jay. He looked in my eyes. "Dad?" I bit my lip, hoping Dove didn't hear that. "No. Jay, I hope you understand that he is gone." I said sadly. His dad was a close friend of mine. He was like a brother to me.
The black room finally gave in, the roof falling. "Dove! We have to go!" She nodded and closed her eyes. "Then who are you?" I looked at Dove and she dodded. "Felix." I stated. With one hand, I grabbed the pink pixle headphones from my Minecraft skin and put it around Jay's neck. "Dove! On three." I turned to a black hole in the wall. We started running towards it, with the children in our hands. "One!" Dove shouted over the flames. "Two." We were a few meters from it. "Three." We jumped in the hole.
.
I blinked my eyes, the sun seeping through the gaps. It was dawn. Sitting up, I let out a groan. "Felix? Are you alright?" I let out another groan, remembering last night. "Winter? Jay?" Dove smiled. "Safe and sound."
"Who caused it?"
Dove's face darkened. "Herobrine."
"What about Notch?"
"Pissed."
I laughed. "Felix, look." She pointed towards two figures in the backround. It was Jay and Winter. Jay kissed Winter's fore head and lay her down, then her lay down next to her. "Young love." I looked at Dove. "Can you sing me a song?" I nodded.
"If I could write you a song
And make you fall in love
I would already have you up under my arm.
I used up all of my tricks,
I hope that you like this.
But you probably won't.
You think you're cooler than me.
You got designer shades,
Just to hide your face
And you wear them around like you're cooler than me.
And you never say "Hey"
Or "Remember my name?"
And it's probably 'cause you think you're cooler than me..."
