A young woman wonder what she did wrong... to live a horrific life and end in tragedy... Let's start with how it all began..
There was a baby girl that was born with two eyes of ruby red with her skin looking light brown and her hair all silky and pure dark red as blood itself. Once she was born both parents stared at her in shock and confusion. How is this possible? Doctors couldn't explain this strange birth after math at all and no one knew how or even why the little baby had two red eyes at all. It did however cost the mother to abandon the child and her husband and run off while the father slowly began to look at his own first born as nothing more than a monster but he did finally name his daughter as Hiena Mal.. the only nice name he could think of before he turn her life a living hell..
As Hiena grew so did her father's hatred towards her. Her father would hit her sides and stomach, beating her with any objects in his hand whenever he for some odd reason get enraged the moment he saw her eyes, shouting how she was a freak and made him lose the love of his life, and mostly left her home alone while he went out to drink or gamble his money away without a care in the world.
Hiena was five at that time when she distracted herself with books about heroes who saved and help people in need. She found them in the attic when she was trying to hide from her father and bumped into a box filled with books her mother use to read. She didn't know the books belonged to her mother nor did she know what she looked like but when she started to read the books she felt herself be more drawn into the stories than the life she was in. Even after all the abuse she still distracted her pain and sorrow with the books of heroes, but as she read about them she couldn't help but notice some parts. The fact the villains would look far more monstrous than the heroes themselves. "Why do people not like others who are different?" She questioned herself in her room as she looks in the cracked mirror on her wall that shows her eyes. She remember the times her father tried to punch her eyes to get them removed but even after all these years her eyes on her was still red as blood as the outside bruises practically circled both of them making it look like she was tried all the time. She wondered why her dad tried to damage them at all. She even asked her father once about it and all he could answer was, "Your eyes remind me of the day the demon from down below decided to bring you here and make my life miserable". She never knew what he meant but it always made her question what would've happened if her eyes were both hazel instead of red.
As she became of age of 18 her father was in debt to a mafia boss that was known for his power and dangerous skills in torturing his victims till they died off... so her father made a deal with him to marry Hiena in exchange of erasing his debt to him. The Mafia boss was much older, possibly around his 30s, and was in need of a wife that can carry his child to uphold the family and the mafia he's formed. So the old man agreed with her father and next thing Hiena knew she was wed to the older man while her father just watch them get married and left the moment it was done and set.
Hiena didn't know much about him besides the fact he was a mafia boss and that he was dangerous to be around when he gets mad. Still she tried to handle being his housewife while he worked and kept his reputation up. However it wasn't easy as she would sometimes get punched in the stomach for not cooking his proper meal, slapped whenever nothing is cleaned the way he wants it, or even kicked hard by her back when she tries to get into an argument with him. She made sure to try and fix herself since she was use to this abuse habit from her father which made her question if her father did this to her cause he hated her or to help prepare her for the cruel life alike this.
