(Y/N POV:)
"Meow~ you're with the person you like meow~" said the robot cat Seven had made for me as it curled up by his crossed legs.
"Get the hell away from me cat.." Seven growled.
The cat kept insisting on bugging Seven, resulting in him throwing it against the wall and breaking it into pieces, "oh shit.. Y/n I didn't mean to break it.."
I sighed,"it's not a big deal I guess.. It's not like it was a real cat.. " I held back my tears as I helped pick up the broken pieces."Wait.. Don't throw the pieces away. I-I can fix it.. " Seven said while rubbing the back of his head, guilt written all over his face.
I sighed and just laid the pieces onto the counter,"okay, but don't push yourself.. You've made it clear that you already have enough on your plate."
"Hey sunshine.. Just a bit ago, you were all giddy at the fact that I was here, where did that go?" Seven crossed his arms, trying to look like he didn't care but I could definitely tell he did care, considering his eyes kept shifting nervously.
I snapped the book I was reading closed, "to tell you the truth, I don't think getting my robot cat broken is something I should be giddy about.."
Seven immediately felt worse and started rubbing his head furiously, messing up his own hair, "god dammit.. I'm so stressed out.." he snapped his head towards me, "Y/n, do you wanna go for a ride?"
"To where..?" I raised an eyebrow. "No place in particular. I need to clear my head, take my baby out for a spin. And I can't leave you here by yourself so you don't really have a choice." Seven shoved his hands into his pockets, pulling out his car keys.
"Well.. Couldn't hurt right?" I shrugged and got up to pack some snacks for the roadtrip. Seven waited by the door, resting his back against the wall.
Once I was ready, Seven and I headed to his car and got inside. He turned the key, "I was thinking we should stop at this cozy cabin I know of, it's pretty peaceful."
I shrugged in response and looked out the window as Seven drove.
Seven tried to crack jokes on our way to the cabin but it wasn't phasing me, he was putting on a facade and I wasn't buying it. "Seven.. Please cut the bullshit." I sighed.
"I don't know what you mean.." Seven said nervously. "Seven, you're going through a lot right now and you're using playfulness to lighten the mood. Stop trying to be something you're not." I said bluntly.
Seven was shocked, no one could see through him like I did. He sighed, "well.. You could've at least laughed.. Are my jokes not funny anymore?"
"Of course you're funny Seven, no one has ever made me laugh like you do. But right now, the situation doesn't call for it." I said as we came closer to the cabin Seven talked about.
Seven didn't really respond to what I said, I don't think he knew what to say. We arrived at the cabin, it was comfortable looking with a big beautiful pond next to it. Seven pointed at the pond, "wanna go for a swim?" he asked, his playful personality rising again. "You're pushing yourself again.." I rolled my eyes.
Seven growled as he got out of the car, came around to my side and pulled me out with a bit of force. "What the hell Seven?" I asked as he started dragging me over to the pond. "I appreciate your concern, but I WANT to do this, it'll help me get my mind off reality for just a little bit.."
We arrived at the pond and he started slipping out of his jacket, "also, no more Seven.. Call me Saeyoung." he threw off his shirt and glanced at me, his face turned red as he saw that I was hesitant to start stripping. He slowly came close to me, "it's okay.. Underwear is no different than a bathing suit, I'm just going to be in my boxers. We're both going to be exposing ourselves here."
