Nat POV

Wanda, sam and I were all sat on the couch watching TV. I was between Wanda and Sam. Wanda wasn't watching the TV, every time I looked down at her she was staring at Sam. He would try to talk to her but she would just hide her face in my side. She must trust me a lot more than Sam right now. The elevator dinged and Sam jumped up.

"I'll get it" he said quickly. I wouldn't blame him if he was feeling uncomfortable. When Sam walked back to us Sam was followed by a postman.

"It's Wanda's stuff" Sam told me. I stood up and quickly signed for the packages and thanked the man.  Sam and I began to bring in various different boxes while Wanda watched us curiously from the sofa. I beckoned her over and handed her a few small things to carry. Once everything was in my apartments guest room (now Wanda's room) we started to open boxes. The only thing that really needed to be built was the little white vanity that I had ordered, so I gave Sam that job whist Wanda and I put her clothes away. Sam also hung the curtains and a bed drape. He started opening boxes with toys while me and Wanda were still on clothes. Okay okay maybe I went a bit overboard, but in my defence the poor girl deserved it.

"Dang Nat you really went all out" Sam chuckled slightly.

"Can you blame me? It's fun spending Tony's money" I smiled at Wanda and she giggled. Sam lined up a bunch of dolls on the dresser.

"Why so many dolls?" Sam questioned.

"She picked them" I said in defence while pointing at Wanda.

Once the three of us had finished we stepped back to look at the final product. It looked great. I looked down at Wanda to see a smile plastered across her face. My Apple Watch suddenly pinged so I looked down at the time.

"Lunch time" I cheered! I was starving.

"I can go get something if you want?" Sam offered.

"Yeah that would be great" I accepted his offer. Sam quickly left my apartment and I brought Wanda back out to the living room.

"So Sam's nice" I said. Wanda shrugged " was he mean?" I asked her. She shook her head. "See there's nothing to be scared of" she shrugged again so i sighed and reached for the TV remote. Sam being here had actually made Wanda closer to me. I didn't mention that to her though, I didn't want to change her mind about me.

After about 15 minutes Sam retuned to my apartment with pizza.

"It was easiest" Sam stated and placed the boxes on the coffee table.

"Thanks" I smiled and stood up to grab plates. To no surprise Wanda got up and followed me. We didn't end up watching TV, we just sat and talked. Wanda stayed silent but observant.

"I should go, I have a meeting with fury" Sam eventually stood up.

"Thanks for coming" I stood up and followed him to the door. Wanda followed.

"Can you say bye Wanda?" I asked her. To my surprise after a slight hesitation Wanda stepped forward and gave Sam a hug.

"Bye Sam. Thank you for helping us" she stated.

"You are very welcome princess" Sam smiled down at her.

When Sam left Wanda turned around and walked away. I followed her curiously and found her sitting on her bed and looking around the room in wonder.

"Thank you Nat" she said quietly.

I walked over to her and sat beside her. She didn't move or flinch which made me smile.

"No problem sweetheart"
