Amelia was running and skipping through the forest with Damien in her hand, the sky was crystal clear and the sun had just came out. Damien was becoming very light headed from all the running Amelia was doing and tried constantly to get her to stop and slow down a little, but Amelia was to excited to pay any attention to Damien.
"I can't wait to show you this place darling, you'll love it. I know you will" Amelia had a big grin on her face and was still running very fast, her footsteps made the ground shake like little bombs. Damien could even see the trees shaking like a flag in the wind due to Amelias heavy and fast paste footsteps.
"H-how much long will i-it be?" Damien could still bearly talk from the amount of whiplash he was facing.
"Its just up here darling!" Amelias voice rang out for a long distance, making anyone in a mile radius being able to hear her.
Eventually Amelia started walking past some trees and walked carefully down rocky terrain and then they finally she came to a stop. "Look darling..."
Damien looked around to see a large beautiful lake that has the most clean and crystal clear water he had ever seen in his entire life. The lake stretched all the way down and into the horizon where it could meet a river and the lake was gaining a constant supply of fresh water from the small but mesmerising waterfall. There was many lillypads spread over the calm lake where you could see and hear many different kinds of frogs pearched on them. The bright sun caused a clear gaze over the entire lake making parts of the water look like gold. "Holy shit....t-this is..." Damien was to lost in thought to speak a full sentence. "This is beautiful!" Damien was genuinely amazed by the lake, everything about it was full of joy and it could make even the coldest of men smile.
"I knew you would like it darling." Amelia placed Damien down on the ground and he immediately ran over to the lake and Amelia followed from behind. When Damien looked in the water he was shocked to see that there were many different kinds of beautiful fish and when he put his hand in the water to have a feel, Damien was shocked to find that the water was very warm.
"This place would be great for fishing, its such a beautiful area for it and the fish here are absolutely stunning!" Damien said while examining the smooth rocks that he picked up from the shallow area of the lake.
"I'm so glad you like it here, I always enjoyed coming over here to relax." Amelia had laied down on the floor with her feet in the water like she was sunbathing on the beach.
"When did you find this?" Damien was very intrigued to know as this lake seemed to be very secluded as being in a large thick forest.
"Oh well..." Amelia hesitated for a moment. "I've been here since I was just a little girl, my father would come take me over here on every Sunday evening."
"Where is your father now?" Damien asked which made Amelias face drop in grief which surprised Damien of her reaction.
"He......" Amelia paused before giving in a deep breath like she was getting mentally ready for something. "He died when I was around 7 years old..." Damien was stunned from this sudden dark comment.
"Oh...well I'm...I'm sorry..." Damien looked at the floor processing on what Amelia had said. Now Damien still had a large grudge against Amelia for everything she had done, and nothing Amelia could say would justify her kidnapping him. But despite this, while he still did not want to be with her, he couldn't help but feel sorry for Amelia who looked at Damien with such sorrow eyes.
"Well what's in the past is in the past, no use getting all emotion over it." Amelia looked at the ground and took a deep breath, it was obvious to Damien that seeing this beautiful lake was bring back childhood memories for Amelia and was making her emotional.
"Well this is a very beautiful spot Amelia, i-im sure you have lots of great memories with you dad here." Damien was trying to show some compassion to the now weeping giant.
"Y-yeah....I'm sure h-he did." Amelia whiped the few tears of her face and took more deep breaths. Damien didn't know weither or not he should comfort her so he simply laid down right next to her and looked out into the lake. They sat there silently for a long time, both taking in the calm environment. Amelia had soon got her emotions together and became more calm like the nature they were in. "Let's go now darling, I must wash some clothes at home." Amelia picked Damien up and she walked off into the forest and towards the house.
"That was nice, we could go there again." Damien looked at Amelia who was slightly surprised at Damiens statement.
"Oh well..." Amelia blushed. "Yeah...that sounds really nice," Amelia had a big grin on her face and Damien couldn't help but smirk alittle.
Yes that lake was truly a great private place that could calm even the most hatred of people, being alone together on such a lovely sight was calming.

Well atleast they thought they were alone at that lake...they thought...
