A month passed so quickly. Kartik is in Kashmir shooting for the movie while Naira is in Udaipur enjoying all the pampering from Goenka and Singhania families. Naira started missing Kartik but she holds a strong face in all video calls to assure him that she is fine.
Naira is in her room in Goenka house folding clothes mindlessly when her mobile rang with a video call from Kartik
Naira: Kartik...
She sees him wrapped in a blanket with a monkey cap on his head and his nose red as tomato
Kartik: Jaan...woh...Im....
He sneezes
Naira: What happened to you?
Kartik: I got the virus....so got to quarantine
Naira: What? Tum toh kal wapis aane wale the na....achanak se virus kahan se aaya tha?
Kartik: From the sets I guess...many of them are ill, Varun and I got positive today morning only
Naira: You had symptoms and took test, but you are informing me now only, this isn't fair
Kartik: I thought that symptoms will disappear soon, didn't think that I got the virus
Naira: So you will not be here for next 15 days?

Kartik nods silently with a pout

Kartik: Bimar pati ko daat rahi ho?

Naira: Be thankful that our daughter is still in my womb, if she was out she will be the first one to beat you for not taking care of yourself
Kartik: Naira...nothing will happen till I come right? I don't want to miss the precious moment of seeing her born
Naira: Kuch Nahi hoga...for now take care of your health. Mujhe hour to hour updates chahiye
Kartik smiles and nods, Naira smiles back and blows him a flying kiss
Kartik: Has the sun risen in the west?

Kartik: My wife is pouring love on me

Keerthi: Naira...is that Kartik? Media is reporting that many of them in the shooting spot have caught virus. He is alright na?
Kartik looks at Keerthi with a childish face and Keerthi understands the situation .
Keerthi: Maa....dadi....papa....Kartik too has got the virus
Everyone from the family gather around Naira who is sitting holding her mobile
Dadi: Kittu....sach mein virus....
Kartik: Woh...dadi...
Manish: Naira ke saath hitler banke ghoom raha tha aur ab dekho khud bimaar hogaya
Keerthi: So your return is postponed?
Kartik nods with a sad face

As the couple call became a family call Kartik is unable to handle all advices from everyone. So he fakes a yawn and : Ill sleep for sometime
He disconnects the call and sighs as he pulls the rug close and gets cozy

It was beyond midnight, Kartik comes out of the restroom and sees his mobile ringing. He rushes to see Naira's video call and picks it up
Kartik: Jaan..kya hua? Sab teek hai na?
Naira: Sab teek hai..I just called to check on you. What are you doing?
Kartik: Woke up from a deep sleep and got some food as Im hungry
Naira: Acha? You are ill so eat healthy food
Kartik: Ill definitely jaan
Naira: I can see that..momos, kachori and samosa are healthy foods right
Kartik understands that he is caught
Kartik: Woh sorry....I was having cravings...
He scratches the back of his neck smiling sheepishly
Naira: Your craving is carving...mine is not? How many times have you stopped me from fulfilling my pregnancy cravings..ab kahan gaye woh rules?
Naira turns her face away angrily
Kartik: Im sorry jaan...this is last...Ill eat healthy from now on
Naira: From now I need pictures of all your meals, if not me and our daughter will not talk to you
Kartik: Ill send pictures...please uskeliye itna bada saza mat dho

Naira disconnects the call while Kartik sighs
