Sports Festival

The UA sports festival is a huge event in the entirety of the nation, as it showcases the brimming talent of the very best students to Hero Agencies and alike, and also creates career opportunities for them.

I need to perform really well.

The first round of the sports festival for freshers – obstacle race.

We are cramped up in a narrow place, and ahead is the track. I need to get out of this first and race ahead.

But as soon as the signal to go sounded, Todoroki rushed out, freezing all of us and carving a path for himself on the icy trail. A headstart, huh?

Looks like the first challenge.

My legs were frozen, sure, but they were still in contact with the ground. Earthen pointed spires and hammers rose from underneath and broke me free of my icy restraints.

Apart from me, the other one to break away was Bakugo. I used my Quirk to forge forward and he was flying through the sky, propelling himself with his explosions. Todoroki was still at long ways ahead of us, sliding on his ice. And I have not been very used to my maneuvering skill.

Todoroki encountered the first obstacle in the race. A zero pointer robot, HUGE.

Todoroki, with one slash of his hand, froze the entire thing solid and slid fast. But the robot gave in and fell down, blocking the way. Bakugo exploded the thing and flew over the debris. And I summoned enormous earthen hands in front of me, as I was sliding, to punch through the metal, creating way for me.

The next obstacle was tightrope and a deep valley under it. We were supposed to cross it walking on the rope.

Todoroki froze the rope, and balanced himself on the resulting surface and managed to cross, while Bakugo flew straight.

I created earth platforms that extended from the ground beneath me and connected to the adjacent pillars, thus creating a path for me, over which I slid. I also removed the earthen paths, lest others could cross on the same way.

The final obstacle appeared. A mine field.

Todoroki was walking over it carefully, as not to trigger them. While Bakugo was flying, so it didn't matter to him. I approached, and created two huge pillars on either side of the mine field. They rose to considerable height and created a platform between them, on which I crossed fast, faster than them. Seeing this Todoroki, froze the entire ground solid, and started sliding away fast. But I was already in front of them. Izuku used the power of mines to propel himself forward. But naught, I got the first place. Izuku came in second, Bakugo in 3rd and Todoroki in 4th.

The next round of the sports festival was going to be a cavalry battle.

Midnight-sensei announced us that the others will form groups of 4-6 and try to steal points from each other. Top 4 teams will only qualify. The points will be assigned to all on the basis of their rank in the obstacle race.... And the first rank would be worth 10000000 points. While others are awarded decent points. THAT MEANS, they just have to rob the points from me alone to qualify into the next round. Shit, I'm in bad waters.

I picked Izuku, Tokoyami and Ochacho Uraraka.

Izuku, with our points plopped on Tokoyami and Ochacho was for support, I for defense and Tokoyami using his Dark Shadow for offensive.
