Chapter 3 | "Getting Used To It"

After spending some time with the Straw Hats you start to know more about them except for the introvert that stays on the birds nest, Zoro. You barely see him, if you saw him then it was on the dinner table or you caught him sleeping on the deck which you found cute? You didn't form an opinion on him and for sure you want to. You've been interested in him since you joined the crew so you decide one morning to go see him in the crow's nest. You climbed up the ladder thinking to yourself: "I can do it I can do it!" Once you reached the hatch and finally opened it, he was working out, as always. You start to feel your cheeks heat up as you see his shirtless body sweat while swinging multiple weights on one bar. You wanted to talk to him but you didn't know how to, so he, himself did it.
"What do you want, is it dinner already?" He asked as he kept swinging, he had noticed you before you could even talk.
"No, not yet. It's four a'clock why would you eat at this time?"
"Because I'm hungry?" He said with an egocentric chuckle.
"Who isn't?" You responded with the same sass he has.
"Alright, then what do you want?" He said as he set his weights down leaning onto them. You looked away so you could talk.
"Talk?" You say as you looked back at him.
"Zoro you've been the only one that i haven't had a full conversation with for these past days, no not days, weeks!" You talked back as he scoffed.
"Do you want me to buy another sword or what? I don't need nobody to talk with, i need to focus on my goal." He said as he picked the weight back up and continued to swing it up and down.
"Your goal is?" You answered with curiousity
"Be the world's best swordsman." He answered back.
"My goal is to make the world's best weapons, weapons that would never break or weapons that's too powerful." You answered as you sit down to lean on the wall.
"I guess we'll have to help each other in the future."
"True."
You both didnt say anything, making the silence get louder and louder.
"Zoro?" You called the moss head
"Mm?" He mumbled, answering.
"Can i see your swords? Just to inspect them?" You asked, expecting a yes.
"No."
"What? Why?" You said frowning
"Because i said so." He said as he turned towards you.
"And for ducks sake just leave me alone, i don't need nobody interrupting or distracting me while i train. Go talk with the others."
"We've never talked! I just wanted to stay here talk with you so we could something that's not strangers. Zoro do you really hate me like that? If you want me to leave then i will, alright?" You shouted as you left through the hatch. "Jesus Christ, why doesn't this guy stop trying to talk to me? Even at his old village he didn't stop. Must he be in love with me or what? I'll just continue with my routine, i don't need time with nobody. Specially a problematic newcomer. Shitty Blacksmith... i wish he never had come onto our crew. All he does is just walk around and talk." Zoro would think to himself. He'd continue his workout but way more angry.

[ 2 Hours Later ]

At the dinner table where everyone was waiting for the meal, they all noticed something strange. Y/N wasn't there. They all started to talk about where you could've been, meanwhile Zoro started to feel sick, like actual sick. He held it in because of his strong and masculine outlook.
"Who's gonna go call Y/N?" Luffy would ask to the crew.
"Zoro will." Sanji said as he looks at you.
"Wait why me? If everyone cares so much about them then they'll go call him. I just want my food." He answered as Nami would arise from behind him. She'd smack him in the head and she kicked him out of the dinner room. "LUFFY DO NOT TOUCH THE FOOD!" Nami would shout from the dinner room. Zoro would sigh as he walked around the ship mumbling, he eventually got lost inside the ship, he eventually found you inside Franky's workshop since you shared some space with him for your forging hobby. "Oi, shitty blacksmith." He called you. "It's dinner."
"You can let Luffy eat my food." You answered not looking at him, as you continued to smash your hammer onto the metal bar.
"They won't let me back if i don't have you with me." He said already getting nervous.
"I don't care, you can starve." You said as you slightly turned your head back, your eyes were red and swallowed up. "Don't bother to come back." You looked back at what you were doing. He noticed it as he scoffed. "What type of man are you? Crying because someone doesn't want to be your friend?" He said leaving his arms up with his hands opened. You smashed the hammer onto the bar, breaking it, leaving it shattered. You looked back at him as you walked angrily. "Listen here you fucking bitch. You don't know me enough to say all of this you hear me? You are nothing but a crew mate i have to tolerate. You didn't even bother to find me yourself, someone told you to find me, you fucking bitch." You screamed at him as tears came across your face. "And you wanna know what? I didn't even have friends back at my own town, my own family have gotten killed because of the debt they were in. I lived alone in my house for decades while i tried to build up my own life. And you, what did you suffer from? Nothing? You piece of shit. Now leave me alone you asshole." You said as you pushed him back. You went back to whatever you were doing, you didn't even bother to talk back to him.
He stood there as he left. You kept crying as you leaned into the anvil. Sometime later he brought you your food in a wooden tray, he placed it down near you. "I'm not letting you die of starvation so eat." He said as he sat down with his legs crossed. "Eat." He told you as he pointed towards the plate. You had your back turned at him. "Just leave me the fuck alone." You answered. "I'm not leaving until you eat." Hed say back.
"Im not eating. Plus it was probably Nami who told you to get me a plate." You said. As Zoro sighed putting his hand onto his forehead. "No, she didn't. I told them you weren't feeling well so i took your plate and placed it on a tray, only to deliver it to you. They all kept accusing me from liking you. So now you have to eat." He said back at you. You looked back as you turned. "I hate you." You said as you started to eat the food. " I hate you too." He said with his arms crossed as he saw you eat, he had a slight smile from seeing you eat.
