Chapter 4 | "Stealing & Leaving"

After that event that made you and Zoro get more closer, you started to talk more with him instead of him ignoring you and you ignoring him. The Thousand Sunny was running out of food and everyone wanted a break from being overseas. The ship stopped at the coast of a island, everyone left the ship to go shopping since Nami allowed them, Luffy was already long gone from the crew's sight, Chopper and Robin was trying to find a library and Usopp, Nami went shopping and Franky and Zoro stayed inside, Zoro couldve left but he stayed just so he could sleep. You traveled around the town with a small bag on your side, you searched for a shop that selled some material you could use or try to make weapons with it. You eventually did so you decide to come in.

" Hey, do you have some iron bars? Im a blacksmith and i need some material to work with, you know? " You'd smile at him, expecting the same energy. " Sure, its 80000 berries. " The man said with bags over his eyes and a monotone voice. You got shocked at the high price, not expecting that much money for some iron bars. "Couldn't you make a discount?" You asked. "No." He answered, sounding more sleepy then he already was. "Oh. Okay." You left, holding yourself back to punch him. You knew that they costed less then eighty thousand but you kept it to yourself and you went back to the ship. You sighed once you climbed up the ladder, you walked to your room and you set your bag down. Franky would notice you were bummed up so he tried to help you. "Hey! Y/N, what happened?" he asked you.

"This zombie were selling an 12-pack of iron bars for 80000 berries, can you believe that?" You said as he simply just said:

 "You SUPER should steal it."

"what." 

"Steal it, you're a pirate now, it dosen't matter."

"Franky, how would i steal 12 iron bars."

"I dont know"

"Then why are you even-" You sighed and face palmed.

"What? It's a good idea." He said as he tilted his head, looking confused as to why would you wouldn't want to do that.

You got bored so you continued smithing the weapons you were already working on. You had enough handles, guards, everything. But suddenly the lazyness kicked in as you wanted to stop doing whatever you wanted to just to sit around. You sat down on the fence of the deck, watching the sea waves trying to see the fish swimming underwater, having this calm rhythm sooth you, you eventually fell asleep. The next thing you see as you opened your eyes was Zoro, trying to wake you up so you could eat.

"Hey, Y/N. Wake up."

"Hmm?"

"Wake up."

"Fine..." You said as you got up rubbing your eyes as you walked towards the kitchen. "Zoro?" The other hummed in response. "Would you steal something with me?" He turned towards you as he said: "Sure, why not?" You smiled happy, knowing that you atleast got someone strong with you. You all eat and you and Zoro stayed in the Deck, watching the moonlight, well, Zoro was sleeping but you wasn't. As soon everyone slept, you woke him up. "Zoro, c'mon, wake up." You'd nodge him as he slowly woke up.

"Alright, alright, I get it." He said as he already got grumpy. 

You got out of the ship as you made your way towards the town, you look back and Zoro was still climbing down. You sighed furiously as you waited, tapping your feet. He finally catched up, you both started to walk. "This is my first time stealing." You commented. "First time? Do you even call yourself a pirate?" He said as he chuckled. "Well, i never commited any crime, besides going against the marines and joining this crew... Oh yeah, and being your friend." You said as you looked towards him, he already had gotten lost inside the town. "Fuck." You go back to try and find him, once you did you grasped firmly his wrist as you looked up at him. "Do not get lost." He cringed at your physical touch. "Let go of me." You shaked your head as you walked, holding his pulse. Once you arrive at the shop you let go of him, letting him cut the door open. "Dont be too noisy-" He cut the door in half, letting the upper part fall on the floor making a loud thud. You ran inside and jumped over the counter then you hid under it, grasping your chained sickle. He did the same but he wasn't holding anything, some minutes had passed so you decided to leave the spot, you tried to find something but you didnt find anything. "Fuck, he took them away?" You asked yourself as you knocked on the wall, trying to find a hollow spot and you did! Kinda...

You punched the wall as a small hallway was discovered, but it was too small for you to walk inside standing so you crouched down, you made a signal for Zoro to follow. It was pretty cramped so you had to crawl in all fours. You kinda felt uncomfortable there with your crewmate staring at your ass endlessly, only to make it worse he was complaining how you didnt go faster. You got angry so you said: "If you keep complaining, I'm gonna smack my ass into your face moss head." He got quiet with that. You continued to pass through it as you finally reached the end, on the other side there was a room filled with treasure and money. "Nami would love this. You say as you pulled out a fabric bag out of your pocket as you filled it with money but suddenly the lights would go out. "Zoro? What happened?" You asked trying to find the other. "I dont know, but-" He had tripped on your foot, you fell down with him ontop of you. The lights flickered back as you looked up at him, you feel your cheeks heat up as you blushed. He did the same as he hurried to get up. Once you both got all the money inside the bag, you told Zoro to open the roof and so he did. You threw the bag up as you climbed the bricky wall, you picked it up and you threw it over the roof, hoping it hit the street, you followed the bag and Zoro followed you. You jumped down, took the bag and waited for zoro, you grabbed his wrist and ran to the ship.
