The beanie man stared at the group of boys for a minute longer.

His own group of people backed him up.

"Well?" Robin said, holding up his staff, "Why did you grab mi amigo, eh?"  Billy held Griffin close and Finney did the same with Gwen.

Bruce placed his hand on Vance and Robin's shoulders, smiling, "Sorry, uh- thank you. For the help, that is. Now, you can continue on your path and we, ours. Um- Goodbye." He says, pulling the two violent boys back, Terrance following after a quick look up-and-down, taking Griffin's third bag, and handing it back to Gwen.

Vance continued to glare at the beanie man as his friends got ready to leave.

Terrance helped Gwen tighten the straps on her bag and handed her her axe, which she'd dropped only moments before.

"You kids shouldn't go off on your own. It's dangerous out there." A lady said.

Vance looked at her.

She was tall, lean, and built, but had a very gentle face. She seemed to be of Asian descent.

She smiled softly, "After a fight like that, you boys must be tired. Come to our group, we'll house you until you decide what to do going forward, how does that sound?" She asked, offering her hand for Vance to take.

Vance glared at it, "Why are you giving me your hand?" She looked confused, "We're not alone. We got my friend's dad with us, or did you not see the tall, lanky man stop me from attacking your guy?"

"Ah, I'm sorry. We only bring non-infected to camp." Her eyes scan Terrance.

Finney also glared at her, "What? You think we're just gonna go with you and leave him because he's an adult?" Crossing his arms, he stood in front of his father, "We go with you, he comes too."

"Again, we don't allow infected to travel with us-"

Vance interrupts her, holding his hands up, "Woah woah woah, slow down. What makes u think he's infected? He wasn't bit. He's been taking care of us since this all started, we're not leaving him behind. Look, we said thanks for the help so leave us alone. We don't trust you, especially since your guy tried grabbing ours and won't explain why." He finishes, Bruce stands behind him with his bat firmly in his hands.

Terrance walks up behind the boys, "Look, thank you, really, for the help. But I can't let you take my kids. I don't know why you insist I'm infected, but I think it's best you leave us now."

The lady, ignoring Terrance, looks at each of the kids in the eyes, seeing the fear and caution in each of them.

She smiles once again, placing her gun down and getting on her knees.

The group gets confused as the other adults follow her movements.

She places her hands a length in front of her and bends down until her forehead touches her hands.

Staying there for a few seconds before coming back up, still smiling.

"I'm Hee-Jai and this is my group since the outbreak started a year or so back." she gets up and they all follow after, she walks up to the beanie man, "This is Joseph, he's mute, which is why he didn't answer you before." She picked up her gun, switched it to safety, and tossed it onto her back.

She began introducing the rest of her friends.

The group, continuing to not understand the situation, didn't move or release their caution.

"This is Rebecca, she joined us recently. A few weeks ago, actually." A young lady smiled and waved. White with brown hair and, surprisingly, green eyes.
