Ndeshi stood straight with her two hands clasped and her lips pursed. After what Astras said she wondered what he meant. Did he leave her friends in some sort of gruesome detention centre? Hell is an upsetting way to describe where her friends had to stay while she was in luxury." You will get ready and we will go meet your dear friends whom you so desperately want to see," He said as he made his way up the three steps which led to the door.
" I will ask you one more time, what is your name?" He said turning around once more in her direction. This time his voice was firm and his tone held no evidence of tolerance or amusement.
Ndeshi turned her head from the window which she was glued to for the past 10 minutes. "It's Dee," she said in a monotone tone. She didn't want him to know her full name, it was a name she left for dead with her parent. The only living people who knew the entirety of it were in an unknown which this man called "hell".
He hummed in response and then proceeded to leave until he heard her voice from behind him " What's yours?"
She asked in a high-pitched tone.Don't be mistaken, she did not care what the alien man's name was. She only wanted to know his name for the day she would kill him and make him beg for mercy.
He let out a low chuckle and turned around leaning against the door " Not just anyone can say my name" he answered with a slight smirk. "Well if you don't want to tell me then I won't force you" Ndeshi responded before turning around to face the window.
She thought that it would have been better if she never asked. The more he spoke the more she realized how inflated his ego was. "Astras," He said from behind her " That is my name".
His voice was followed by the shutting of the door.Ndeshi turned around and scanned the room with her squinted eyes to make sure she was alone this time. The opera that played on the record was still playing as the song almost reached its end.
She took fast steps to the bed and sat on it. Astras' words still echoed in her mind. His statement was profound and resolute. He basically declared that he wanted her to be his puppet. A doll that would jump when he wanted her to and lay on his lap when he commanded.
The thought alone scared her. There was nothing that terrified her more than giving in to the Zephonian dynasty. That would mean she would have to share responsibility for the death of her parents. That would mean her friends died for no reason, which they did. Laying in the same bed with the man who had his disgusting lizard eat her comrades and torture Steven was unreal.
There was just so much she could not brush over and forget. She did not mind it though, she needed something to continue to fuel her hate and motivate her.
She was pulled out of her thoughts when both doors to her room were opened. The action pulled her out of her seat and she sprung up from the bad.
From the door emerged a beautiful woman. She appeared to be tall and her brown hair cascaded down her shoulders. She was beautiful.
She seemed as if she was Latina and her beautiful bronze skin testified to that.
With both her hands dramatically dropping from the door she opened she walked down the three steps in her dark red long-sleeved dress. Behind her emerged two women who wore two pieces with the same design as the lady in red. The skirts they wore were tight and below the knee, unlike that lady whose dress touched the floor. Their zipped blazers went up to their neck and their collar had silver embeddings on them. You could tell that the lady in red was the "boss" or someone of importance. Her low-cut dress revealed a beautiful gold necklace with rhinestones that looked otherworldly.
"So this is she," she said in her thick accent.
