As Bruce sits down in his class, and writes his name on the test, he started to solve the first question.
The next thing he knows he needs to add the date.
'fuck i totally forgot today's date. I didn't look at my calendar.' he thought.
He turned around and asked the ginger girl behind him the date. It was October 5th.

He wrote that down and started to solve the first question.
When he was on question fifteen, the guy next to him asked for the answer.
He was used to this from high school, but it was coming from the second smartest kid in the class.
Usually just idiots asked for the answer, but for it to come from a fellow nerd? That was unexpected.

Bruce gave the guy the answer, and went back to work.
After question 25 he was done, he had answered every one of the questions, triple checked the exam for grammar mistakes and did his equations with a calculator.
He was pretty sure he'd get at least a B.

Everyone who finished the exam got to leave, so Bruce did just that.
He wasn't sure what to do because this had been the last class of his day.

He went to some random diner in the area he saw as he was shopping, he's addicted to shopping.
He's been to every store in a 10 mile radius.

As he walks into the diner he sees Vance in a light blue apron with checkers on it.
With the uniform was a white shirt and some washed-blue jeans. Bruce took a picture for future keeping.

"Hey there Goldie locks, gonna go find papa and mama bear anytime soon?" Bruce teased as Vance turns around.
Vance is stunned and embarrassed by the situation.
Vance tried to act cool, his response being:
"Yeah I'm gonna go right after my shift, wanna come?"

Bruce chuckles and takes a seat at the counter.

"But seriously, you could be little red riding hood, like all you need is the red Cloak, and I'll be the big bad Wolf." Bruce says as he looks in his backpack for something.

"Oh yeah? Why would you be the big bad Wolf?"
Vance asked, leaning his arm on the counter.
"Because I'm big and scary! And i kill old women." Bruce says the last part with a smirk, and the first part with his hands up making his fingers scrunched up.

"Sure thing, anyway whatcha want?" Vance asks, noticing how beautiful Bruce's features were..

"I'd like some coffee and a blueberry muffin please" Bruce smiles. That's another thing Vance likes about him, his smile.

Vance really liked Bruce, he liked his eyes, his noes, his perfect skin, his natural shade of pink, his lips, his figure, his style, he really liked everything about Bruce.

Vance gets Bruce the coffee and the muffin and continued to work.
Vance has this bit where he flirts with moms and-or older woman that walk into the diner, everyone knows it and everyone goes along with it.

Bruce doesn't like it as much as the others.
He gets jealous when Vance flirts with anyone else except for him. He shouldn't though, i mean they're just friends.

Bruce puts the six bucks on the table, and an additional three dollars for a tip, and walks out of the diner.

As Bruce is walking around the town, a stranger bumps into him.
"Hey man! Watch where you're going!" Bruce yells, trying not to sound like a dickhead.
"No you fairy." The man responded.

Bruce was in shock. Why did this random stranger call him a fairy? Bruce questioned himself.

"Good little fag, keep your mouth shut." The man continued.
Vance hears this and runs out the diner.
Vance didn't like it when people insult his family and friends.

"What did you just say?" Vance asked.
"Oh now your boyfriend's here. Great. You both should just go burn in hell with all the other fairys."
"You fucking messed up." Vance's hands formed fist's

Bruce tried to stop Vance, because Bruce isn't fifteen anymore. He doesn't need anyone to fight his battles anymore.
Vance started to get even more angry when the stranger said even more homophobic stuff. He also started to be racist to Bruce.

Bruce lost it at the rasism.
He punched the stranger. Then again. And again. And then he started to beat up the stranger.

The stranger couldn't have the chance to fight back.

After Bruce was done, Vance told him to go back into the diner to get cleaned up in the bathroom.

He was pissed to no end, the memory of the stranger fresh in his mind. He wanted to go back out there for a second round.

As he left the bathroom, Vance was waiting by the door, smiling when he saw Bruce.

"Good punch, yamada." He commented, and Bruce chuckled.

"Thanks for trying to defend me." He spoke, kissing Vance's cheek before he left the diner, not wanting to distract Vance from work any longer. But it didn't work, because right after the peck, Vance was blushing and frozen in place, watching Bruce as his heart sped up like never before.

He might be in love.
