The End

There was a funny smell. Smoke, someone was trying to set fire to the cave to cover their tracks.

Cale immediately jumped his feet and made his way towards the exit of the cave, when he found himself outside he looked at what remained of his house. It was burning and it seemed like some of the walls were falling apart. He had no idea who could have done such thing. He hoped the humans wouldn't come here.
If they did then things would get worse. He'd rather stay hidden till they leave. Maybe then he won't end up like his father.

After spending some time thinking about that, he decided that it was best to escape as soon as possible, before the culprit will come back for him.

He ran over the foresta, he needed to find another way out. There were many different entrances to the caves and some of them were quite difficult to find. However, after running for several hours, he spotted a large opening and headed straight for it.
Soon he found himself outside the forest.

he knew the main road to the village and he was glad he took that route, there might be more humans hiding in the forest and he didn't want to run into them accidentally.
When he heard footsteps behind him, the boy turned his head and his mouth dropped.
It was his father.

He was still alive!
But how? Why? What is he doing here?

"You're safe!"

The boy shouted and ran towards his father to hug him.
He was covered in brusie, cut and blood.
Like if he was tortured by someone!
But that can't be true...

"what happened?"

asked the boy hugging his father tightly.
The older dragon was surprised when the boy grabbed his arms and shook him slightly to wake him from his state of mind.

"are you alright?"

asked the boy worriedly

"yes".

answered his father calmly.

"I am fine my son."

The two stared at each other for some moments before Cale spoke.

"who did this to you?".

"they say they were from arm, a secret Organization"

he answered

"why? What did they want? I know you're a strong dragon, you could defeat them easily if they tried to attack you. Why would they want to capture you?".

cried the boy sadly
his father sighed

"well they weren't really trying to capture me. In fact they wanted to kill me"

"how did you survive?".

"they shot an arrow at me, and then I ran".

said the boy

"they shot you!?"

asked the boy shocked

"it's okay, i healed myself and got away. But they were able to find me so i took care of them and killed them .

"and now you are fine?".

asked the boy concerned

"well, it takes a lot to stop me from dying"

replied the older dragon with a grin
Cale looked at him surprised, he wasn'now  expecting that answer.
He knew his father was strong and that he was powerful enough to fight against anyone who threatened him.
However, he hadn' been aware of how much stronger his father really was, or that he had that kind of power.

"you're so strong".

was all he muttered softly.
The older dragon chuckled and hugged his son close to his chest.
Caleb closed his eyes and smiled, he was so happy that his father wasn't hurt anymore. At least they were both safe now. And they were together. Cale was finally safe.

"let's go home now"

Eruhaben  whispered kissing the top of his son's forehead.

"about that..."

"did something happen while i was gone?"

"they destroyed everything, the cave is gone"

Cale said trying not to cry

"then let's build a new one"

Eruhaben said gently rubbing Cale's shoulder. He felt sorry for his young son, but he didn'wanna give up so easily, he would fix his cave as well as they would make a new one. And if that didn'work, then he'll use whatever methods necessary. He'd fight against whatever enemy came to steal his son.
