As they headed to Elliott's class, Juan felt.. nervous.
He didn't know why, but he felt like something was going to happen.
What could possibly go wrong?
"Hey, what were you gonna ask about Bash?" Shayden asked, as he slumped down on his desk.
"Oh, uh.." Juan stalled, thinking of what to say. Should he say the truth, or make something up?
"Shay, come here." Juan whispered, as Dubon and Miguel continued to play video games.
"Is Bash–"
"Sorry I'm late, Ms. Elliott!" Someone yelled, running in.
"Gustavo, where were you?" Ms. Elliott asked, as she turned her rolly chair to him.
"Oh um.."
"He was with me, sorry." Bash interrupted, and placed his hand on Gustavo's shoulder.
Juan felt something inside of him, like he.. didn't like him touching Gustavo.
"Do you have a pass?" She asked.
"No, but that's on me. I insisted he waited for me." Bash apologized, as Gustavo sheepishly smiled.
"It let it go, just this once, boys. Take a seat Gustavo." Ms. Elliott signed, as Gustavo smiled.
"Thanks Bash. I owe you one." He smiled, and hugged the taller boy.
"Anything for my little Gus. Now go sit, you short bitch." Bash laughed, and spanked the other, who rolled his eyes as he sat at the middle row.
"Oh, you're in here too, Shay?" Bash asked, noticing the other.
"Yeah, what's up man!" Shayden greeted, as he dapped him up.
"Who's this?" Bash asked, and looked at Juan.
"Oh, he's Juan. Juan Rodriguez. You know, Ruth's boyfriend." Shayden sighed, as he mentioned the dreaded name.
"Oh, Mr. Moneybags. Of course." Bash laughed. Shayden laughed along, but Juan didn't find it very amusing.
"And you are?" Juan uninterestedly rolled his eyes, and crossed his arms. He knew perfectly who that was, but did it just to spite him.
"You don't know me? I'm Bash. Player #5?" Bash asked, amazed at meeting the first person that was unaware of him.
"Oh, never heard of you." Juan mumbled.
"Anyway, I'm gonna get going. Don't want to be later to class, do we?" Bash laughed, and made his way out.
"Why'd you say you didn't know Bash?" Shayden asked.
"Ugh.. I don't know.." Juan grumbled.
"Is he.. gay?" Juan whispered, as Shaydens eyes widened in shock at the sudden unexpected question.
"Bash? G-gay?" Shayden nervously chuckled, as he scratched the back of his head. "I-Im not sure.. I don't think so?"
"Oh.." Juan mumbled, thinking.
"Why do you ask?" Shayden wondered, as he seemed flustered still.
"I like his friend." Juan whispered.
"Oh really? Who is it? Monse?" Shayden asked.
"No.. Gustavo." Juan answered.
Shaydens eyes widened, as his jaw hung low.
"YOU'RE GA-" He yelled in questioning, as Juan slapped his hand on his mouth to shut up.
"S-Shut up you bastard! Be quiet!" Juan shushed, as Shayden apologized.
"I thought.. you hated gay people." Shayden whispered.
"No.. I just play along.. with the others..." Juan mumbled. "Do you.. hate me now?"
"No! I support you!" Shayden whisper yelled.
"Thank you.." Juan smiled softly, as he hugged the other tightly.
