The Cancer Specialist

After mew put gulf to bed, he went to his home office and called Dr Philip who is a cancer specialist based in Los Angeles to ask for a favour.
" Mr. Suppasit , what a surprise to get a call from you in the middle of the night " the doctor said.
He told him about the research that he wanted him to do and if it was possible to slow down cancer cells in the body.
" Mr. Suppasit, cancer is a tough disease to research or to slow down because it does not have a cure but there is a 15% chance it can be slowed down if it has not spread to the brain cells and heart cells."

" so what can be done in the meantime to slow it down?" Mew asked.

" You can feed the patient organic foods and help them exercise so that the body can grow stronger."

They talked for a while and then he hung up and went back to gulf to find him crying in his sleep. He really hated seeing tears in his face, and that's why he will do everything possible to save his mother. He slowly rubbed his palm against gulfs forehead and then kissed him. He was such an angel in eyes but as he watched him sleeping, he was an angel being broken down by a very strong force.

NEXT MORNING

Gulf woke up with a terrible hangover and also he was shaken by where he was. In a bed of white sheets and he questioned himself if he had slept with another man last night. He was on the verge of crying when he heard a knock on the door. He watched as the door cracked open and mew entering with a tray full of food especially fruits. He gave out a  sign of relief that it was his bf and not a random guy.
Mew noticed but he smiled anyway and handed him the tray. Gulf had no apetite but he knew if he didn't eat, mew was going to feed him by force anyway so he picked at them and puked some. After the ordeal, mew gave him a glass of water and headache pills.
He took a shower and mew dropped him off at the hospital and told him to not go drinking again. He agreed and hurried to his mother's room and he tried to smile but couldn't. His mother opened her eyes and tried to smile. She told him to sit down.
She told him that she had always known that she was going to die of cancer but was afraid to tell him because he wouldn't have focused well at school and failed. So she fought until he could see him become successful and fall in love.
She told him to stay with mew because he is a good man and will always love him no matter what.
Gulf promised to stay with mew all his life. His mom smiled and held his cheek.
