"What is their problem?" Riverkit said half to her self. "Wait. Shouldn't there always be a leader or a deputy in camp?" Skykit asked Riverkit. "I thought so.."
All the sudden there's yowling in the distance and cats run out of camp to find out what's wrong. The Warriors skid to a halt seeing foxes running and a dead cat. At sun down the cats come back hurt but something is wrong.
Where is Ravensmoke. Rock comes into camp and leaps on the cliff.
"All cats come. Now!" Quickly the cats gather. "Mom what's going on?" Skykit and Riverkit ask. "I don't really know."
"Cats Ravensmoke is dead." What! "No..." "Can't be true." "Not possible he was only a few seasons old." Commotion breaks out.
"Silents! That makes me leader and you will listen. From now on we are Rock clan and you have to be 4 moons old to be a apprentice and-". "What! That's ridiculous you will kill us all!" Yelled Foresteyes "I SAID SILENTS" Rock leaps down and claws her leaving a deep wound. "Let this be a lesson to all who deny or interrupt me! Now as I was saying..."
When the meeting ends Skykit and Riverkit rush to Foresteyes "Mom! Mom! Are you alright. Riverkit quickly get Frostface!" Skykit commands. Riverkit dashes off. Let her live. Let her be ok. "Mom I'm here everything will be ok. Riverkit is getting Frostface." Frostface comes running over. "Help me carry her to my den." Skykit and Riverkit quickly rush to do so.
A quarter moon passes and Foresteyes is finally healed. "Mom! Mom! You're ok!" "Yes but only to your quick thinking. Thank you. Why do you have to be 4 moons now to be an apprentice now? Why not the old 6 moons?" Foresteyes complains. "Mom please don't argue you got hurt last time." begged Skykit. "Ok fine I will stop." agreed Foresteyes.
