A moment in time- Sanemi

Cold, mean, rude, angry.  All these words are used to describe the wind hashira.  But, his fellow hashira still wanted to through him a surprise party for his birthday.

Mitsuri and Shinobu snuck into his house with streamers and balloons and started to set things for the party.

" ahh, Shinobu- San,  shinazugawa is going to love it!"  Mitsuri said while spinning until she knocked into a dresser.

" Mitsuri! You have to be more careful," Shinobu said as she went to pick up what fell onto the floor.

It was a picture in a frame, there was a girl in the picture who looked to be about 15 or 16.  She had a floor crown on and was mid laugh as the photo was taken.  Her eyes where full of life and joy.

" eh?  Shinobu-san, do you know who that is?"

Shinobu's eyebrows furrowed as she shook her head.

" maybe she's-"

" what the hell are you two doing here?!"  An angry voice yelled.

" oh um shinazugawa we where just,". Mitsuri stuttered.

He stomped over to the girls and yanked the picture out of Shinobu's hand.

"Why do you have this!"  He yelled

" It fell and I went to pick it up, but who is that girl?" Shinobu asked.

Sanemi looked down at the photo and sighed," Alright, I'll tell you."

"Come on Sanemi!  We are almost there," the h/c girl shouted.  She had a flower crown on and a f/c kimono on.

"I'm going as I can Y/n, It's not my fault that you have so much energy," Sanemi said to the girl.

The pair made it to the top of the hill and the girl flopped down on her back.

" Oh, Nemi, what a beautiful day it is," The girl said.

She got up and picked some flowers and started to fashion them into a crown.  She put the crown on her head and stood up.

" Ah Nemi, look at me," She said while spinning and laughing.

He took a picture of her with his camera. " Sanemi! Why did you take a picture of me?"

The boy grinned.

The girl flopped on the ground again lying next to her lover.  She gently kissed his lips.

The girl was lying on the grounded, covered in blood.  Sanemi finished off the demon  that had attacked them.

" Y/n, please don't leave me. I- I can't lose you too," He said while tears where falling down his face.

" I'm so sorry Nemi, but I can't stay.  Please go, I don't want you to watch me die."

The boy obeyed her and left her to die in peace.

Mitsuri was crying and Shinobu looked sad.

" I guess that's.  That's what happened to Y/n.  I just wish I could go back to that moment in time, where she was happy and I was happy."

Deep in a forest there is a manor. 

And in that manor, there is a demon.

And that demon has cold lifeless eyes.

And those cold lifeless eyes hold a story.
