I'm not the average 16 year old male. Nope. I was born in October 1998, so I'm a 90s infant and/ or toddler, not a 90s kid. I was born in Linden, New Jersey. My biological dad was a dick and gave me up to my mom, Julie, so he could spend more time smoking and other shit.
My mom met this guy Chris Mauro, who she married and he became my stepdad. But I call him 'dad' because he's more of a father to me than my old sperm donor of a "father". We then moved together into Vernon, New Jersey.
Anyways, I was always into bikes and I would always ride with my dad. He pushed me down a hill without training wheels, and that's how I learned to ride 2 wheels.
In 2004, my little brother Cj was born. I was uber happy, haha.
I started to play bass guitar in 2007 and also started riding BMX with my best friend, Louie. I was always that kid everyone picked on. Literally everyone. Even the nerds hated me. Lowest of the low. I had minimal friends. But, my dad had a fucking fast Ford Mustang so that always made me happy. I love cars.
My family took a devastating blow in 2009. My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. Over time, it faded and eventually dissapeared. But then in July, a week or so before her birthday, she was diagnosed again. This time, it would never go away. It could only spread. And spread this fucking disease did. This is called Metastatic Breast Cancer, or stage 4 . So when it hit her lungs, we packed our shit in July of 2011 and moved across America to Suprise, Arizona (20 miles outside Phoenix) for better health treatment. I really started to ride bmx out here in Arizona. I was also popular in my 7th grade class, even though some kid tried to stab me with a switch blade. Fun fun.
Then my parents found this great school called Suprise Prep. I loved it there (and I still do because I'm a sophomore there). The people were all weird but in a good way. We would not fit in within a regular school.
Then, my freshman year, it happened. My mother had passed in a hospice at 12:15am, October 12, 2013. My birthday was literally 23 hours and 45 minutes away. I was happy she wasn't in pain anymore; she would scream in pain because the cancer was in her bones, lungs, and her brain.
A few days later, I met this girl. Her name was Hannah. She was amazing. We dated for 6 months until a fucked up real bad. I'll give a hint: snapchat + female classmate. This happened over a year ago, but I still regret it and feel awful. I'm still friends with this Hannah and I apologized. I knew I had to change my mind set at this time. I had been listening to rock music my whole life, and had just started listening to punk. Like real punk, such as: Black Flag, Minor Threat, OFF!, and MDC. Those are just a few examples. I then realized a revolution was on its way. And it's up to us youth. The government is scandalous, the police are race biased, and rich people are just assholes. I hate celebrities. I hate politicians. I hate police brutality. 1 bad cops gives all cops a bad name. I've also learned a lot from listening to System of a Down. Forgive my tangent, haha.
Ever since the day my mom died I've rode my bike every single day. I went from a black Haro 400.1, to an Eastern Ace, now to a WeThePeople Warriord frame with custom parts. I ride park and street and yes, I watch Adam LZ and OSS on a daily basis. My neighborhood friends all ride, and my brother skates. My girlfriend Katherine longboards, but wants to learn bmx. So this should be interesting (no offense love).
So uh, I guess that's me in a 700 word nutshell.
