"Didn't you hear me? I said no." I huff and fold my arms. Annoyed.

"I heard you loud and clear, but that doesn't mean I'll listen because I've already decided. Your ass is coming."

"Axel," I moan.

"Alexis," he replies in the same tone.

"You'll be fine! I'll be with you all night. Come on, you never come with me and it's about time you do, okay?"

He has a point. I'm so low in the social ladder and I really need to get out more but it isn't easy when I think alcohol is disgusting.

"Pwetty pwease Awex," He pouts and flutters his eyelashes. Adorable.

I grunt before answering, "Fine."

Axel fist pumps the air in victory and reaches across the table and pulls me in yet another tight bear hug.

"Axel- muscles, chocking, gotta breathe," My face turns tomato red as his muscles cradle my face.

"Right." He blushes and gives me a small hug before letting go.

"But that poor potato salad doe-" he quickly changes the subject.

"I don't know what to wear," I moan and groan as I roll on the floor swamped with clothes.

"Wear those sweatpants, that hoodie and some sandals. Hot." Gabriel winks and gives me two thumbs up.

"I have an idea!" I brighten up and scroll through my phone.

"Yeah, my idea." He snorts.

"Your idea comes first for being the worst idea," I giggle at his hurt ego expression.

"Out." I pounce and steer him out the door.

"But-"

"Out!" I slam the door behind him.

"So feisty." He mutters on the other side of the door.

Heh. That's the second time I've heard that today.

I resume on my phone and downloaded a fashion app that will hopefully save my outfit crisis, 'Teen fashion' catches my eyes.

I scroll through the app and my eyes land on an outfit that screamed sexy yet classy, a cheshire cat grin plasters across my face.

"Are you ready now?" Axel stands outside my door and I peek through the crack and see him all dashing and slick, I gulp as I assess my outfit.

"Nope." I say with my confidence out the door.

"You probably look fine," I hear a thud as he leans his head on the door.

"Nope." I say in the same tone and I could just hear Gabe snicker.

"She probably looks like shit," Gabriel cackles and Axel gives him a knowing look.

"Dick." I yell at my brother.

"Please come out Alex, don't listen to your pea brain brother."

"Hey!" Gabe scrunches his face.

"Sorry," he whispers softly.

I pace back and forth, twirled around about a hundred times and assessed the amount of lip balm I've applied.

This outfit is definitely out of my comfort zone and I'm curvier than I expected, when the hell did my butt stick out that much?

The outfit that caught my eye was a pair of leather pants, a black and white stripped waist crop top, a mini denim jacket with a hoodie and lime green buttons that matched my converses and I must admit, my long wavy hair just made this outfit fire.

Although it was fire I just wasn't comfortable wearing it outside my room, let alone at a party filled with people who know me.

"I'm not going,"

"What? Why not!" Both Gabe and Axle yell at the same time.

"I feel so out there, I'm not an out there person." I reply sheepishly.

"You dance down the aisle at the supermarket!"

"You sing your heart out to the road when you walk on the street!"

"You did the fusion dance from Dragonball Z for the school talent show!"

"Oh! I so remember that night- She dressed up as Trunks cause the costume shop accidentally rented out the Goku outfit and it was either that or Piccolo," Axels laughter booms around the house.

"Ha ha ha really boosting the confidence guys, not!"

"Come on Alex he's only joking,"

"Nope," Gabriel replies in an instant.

I give Gabe the fingers through the door knowing he won't know I'm flipping him off.

"You're doing the fingers right now aren't you?" Gabe yells on the other side of the door.

"Me? No, never!" I say as sarcastic as I could.

"So convincing," He rolls his eyes.

"Okay whatever I'm just going to rip the bandaid off and come out," I say hesitantly.

"Yessssss," both boys cheer and back away from the door.

I place my hand on the handle and softly push the door open and close my eyes, ready for the insults to fly.

Quiet.

I peek through one eye and see Gabe with a shocked expression and he wolf whistles, he actually wolf whistled at me and his eyes are in shock!

I open the other eye and catch Axel checking me out with his mouth agape, blinking one hundred miles an hour.

"Alexis?" Gabriel clears his throat and composes himself.

"Is that really you?" Axel mimics Gabriel and pretends there wasn't a moment of silence.

"No shit. See, It's out there." I whine.

"Nope. It's a no from me and you're so right, it's out there Alex. We agreed on sweatpants, hoodie and sandles sis, sandles!" His hands flap up and down, pointing at my outfit.

"Beautiful." Axel blushes realizing he said it out loud.

I smile shyly at myself and my eyelashes tickle my cheeks from looking down and blinking.

"Dude." Gabe says in disgust.

"Sorry I can't help it, she looks amazing!"

"I know!" Gabriel stomps his feet like a five year old and frowns.

"Aw thank you Axel! Gabe you're being so nice-"

"It wasn't a compliment Alexis. Change now"

"Axel, we should really be going now." I quickly pack my Finn the human bag and practically flew down the stairs before Gabriel locked both me and Axle inside.

"What?! Listen to your older twin brother!" He demands from the top of the stairs.

"Why? It's not like you care about my life outside of school," I must've hit a sensitive spot cause his lips slowly curved down and he knows that I hate it when things are left unresolved.

"Go then. Whatever." He walks off towards his room and slams his door.

"He'll be fine, we'll only be a few hours, and you'll be back before you know it." He reassures me by pulling me in a gentle hug.

Great! I need my phone, 'Bitch don't kill my vibe'  is the first song i'm playing once we get in the car.
