"Nigga, you leaving the blunt wet. Stop that shit."
I hit the blunt, inhaling and taking it in. "So what ya'll niggas been up to?" Clay asked, with his hands in his pockets, looking off into the street.
"Nigga shut up, you see us everyday." I laughed. "The question is, what YOU been up to? You still undecided?" I asked, passing Da'Rell the blunt."Yeah, I ain't even tell my pops I didn't try out for basketball yet."
"Just come play football for us." Da'Rell suggested. "Nah nigga, I don't even want to play basketball, what makes you think I'm tryna play football?" Clay asked, giving a side eye. I chuckled.
"You better find something out."Most of the girls stayed inside with them greedy niggas, begging for pussy. Dancing all over them tryna get them drugged up.
It was around 12:00 p.m and I was low-key tired.
"Bria always inviting us to these parties but can never be found." I said.
"Where is her fine ass actually? I'm trying get that." Clay asked, looking over his shoulder back into the house.Darrell shook his head. "You need to be figuring out what you about to do." He ashed the blunt before hitting it again.
"Nigga shut up, I don't think yo' coach would be cool with his star receiver smoking blunts." Clay mocked him.
"Nigga shut up!" Darrell said, looking down at his phone. It was real chill, nice and calm, until we heard "ooous" and "ahhs" coming from inside the house.
"The hell they got going on?" I asked, turning to walk back into the house."Ughh, I hate you!"
We pushed through the crowd just to get to Tianna and Bria rolling around on the floor.
"YOOO, CHILL OUT!" I reached for Tianna and Da'Rell reached for Bria. They wouldn't let go though.
I can't even think of why they would be fighting. Everybody was cool this whole week and on the ride here. Unless it's something they ain't telling us."Tianna stop!" I shouted, trying to restrain her. She was really trying to get at her.
Hair flying, shoes on the floor, clothes coming off.
"Dre get off of me!" She resisted.
Da'Rell and Clay struggled to restrain Bria as well.
"Ooou I swear Ima' beat yo' ass!" Bria screamed, trying to get out of Da'Rell's and Clay's grip.
"Bro just separate them!" I shouted over the screaming. I took Tianna out the back entrance for a longer walk to the car, and Da'Rell and Clay took Bria through the front.-----------------------------------------------------------
"You not gone talk to me and tell me what that was?"
I walked out of the bathroom with my basketball shorts on, fixing the watch on my wrist. Tianna set on my bed, hugging her knees looking off in space. "Tia..."
She looked more sad than angry. Like she lost something.I sat beside her, reaching to put my arm around her and kissing her on the forehead. Then she said.
"You know how embarrassing that is?" I looked down at her, a little shocked that she was finally talking.
"What's embarrassing?" I asked.
"I fought one of my best friends, for nothing?." At this point I was still confused. But I did know that Bria was still mad. Clay called me on FaceTime as he got to his Dorm. He told me they couldn't even get her in the car.She was searching for Tianna.
"Well, why did ya'll fight?" I asked, rubbing her arm, pulling her in. She then rested her head on my arm.
"It's a long story. Just know, it lacked understanding." She straightened herself up. "We still can't find Myka, and it's my fault."I did notice that during the fight, Myka wasn't around.
And when we got to the party she went off with some random. But Myka's always out and about so I didn't pay it no mind."You just need to go to sleep, then we can talk about it in the morning, after you've calmed down."
I wiped her face and we got ready for bed.----------------------------------------------------------
