Why hello there. So I am still working on the Q&A and I know it's been awhile since I last updated an actual chapter or something so I thought this would be good to keep you guys at bay. This is going to be another angsty oneshot and this is going to be split into two parts. Prepare for a emotional rollercoaster. I'm just telling you now this is NOT going to be a happy ending at all. So now for the Trigger Warnings.  Also I am going to be putting a marker when you get to the last TW so if your sensitive to that kind of stuff you don't have to read it. Another thing I know little nothing on Military so I will be using what I do know to try and write this. Get your tissues, this is gonna be good.

3rd Pov

No one had expected the humans to turn bad again. The last war ended in peace..now there was no telling what would happen to the fae race now. Though Lilia had been part of many wars this one was by far the most painful. Their once friends, turned enemies. Lilia continued to stride on the battlefield instantly killing those who had an intent to harm him. As he was finishing off another person he looked around and saw all of his fallen comrades and fighting soldiers in his squad. Though he was worried about everyone, he was most worried for his family. The former residents of Diasomnia. They were all fighting too. As he still fought he thought about them. Malleus would be fine obviously. Silver and Sebek are strong.

'Nothing will happen, don't worry so much' He had told himself

About 10 minutes later he and what was left of his soldiers went over to the west to assist the troops there. They had requested backup. When they had finally arrived on horseback it was truly a sight to see. Every single fae that had fought was either dead or hanging by a thread to stay alive. Lilia had got off his horse and went to the nearest soldier that was still alive.

"Report please." he said to the dying man "What happened here..?"

"They brought thousands General-" he coughed. "We were too overwhelmed..wiped out everyone in an instant. Someone had sent the messenger bird last minute. Those like me are all dead now. But they said where they were headed.." 

"Where?" Lilia had asked

"To the heart of Briar Valley..Thorn Castle.." and with those final words the fae had took his last breath and died right there. It wasn't the death that had made him freeze, it was the statment that that came before. Malleus, Silver, and Sebek were there. And he was miles away. Fear stuck the heart that he had for the first time in centuries. With that he yelled at his brigade to move out quickly and they had. They were heading to Thorn Castle.

'30 minutes..' Lilia thought. 'THIRTY MINUTES TOO LONG'

They had arrived at the castle with horses at top speed ready to battle.

"TROOPS PREPARE TO BATTLE! DEFEND YOUR KINGDOM AND AVENGE YOUR FALLEN COMRADES! MAKE THE HUMANS PAY!" Oh how it pained him to say that last part. After all he himself had been friends with many humans. He could see Malleus hoovering in the sky wiping out thousands of human soldiers, his green fire could be seen for miles. Lilia knew he didn't want to do this. Especially since of HIS close human friend. Lilia had always asked suggestivly if him and Yuu were a thing. HE never wanted to admit it but Lilia knew there was something going on. To his left he had saw Sebek and to the right Silver. It seemed as though the main three were all here. That was good..he could keep watch of all of them.

"Wow look who finally decided to join us. Welcome to the party old man." Silver had noticed him

"Welcome Master Lilia nice to se- oh shit!" As Sebek was greeting him he had almost gotten stabbed. He had promptly knocked away the guy that was trying to do so. Lilia hears a chuckle come from up above so naturally he looks up.

"Sebek mind your language."

"Oh yes sorry Master Malleus."

Lilia only chuckled internally. Only he and his group could joke like this in the middle of a war.  He knew that one day that arrogance could cost him his life. But he appreciated the small moments that had with his frie- No..family. Little did he know that would be taken away in a matter of seconds. He looked over to his son saw that he was struggling and went up to assist. He and Silver were fighting side by side when the worst happened..the world at stopped for just that moment. Lilia felt Silver fall on him. Not having enough reaction time they both fell over on to the muddy ground. Thinking the both of them were dead all of the humans there quickly went to a different area to fight. Obviously Lilia was alive and quickly turned over Silver to see something he had never thought he would. Silver had gotten stabbed in the stomach and blood was pouring out of his body.  Lilia quickly put his hands over his stomach desperately trying to stop the bleeding.

"SILVER, please don't close your eyes I've got you."

"Master Lilia! Whats going on? I'm coming over I just finished here."

"As am I" He heard Malleus say but he wasn't worried about him right now. All he could focus on was Silver. He heard footsteps and two gasps. Through all this Lilia was gradually gaining blot. His emotions were going haywire and when Silver closed his eyes is when he snapped. Blot covered his body head to toe and he sprinted after the main human army.

"Shall we stop him Master Malleus?"

"No Sebek just worry about Silver right now. Though I fear it might be too late..I will stop him when the time comes."
