The cross country team gathers beyond the start of the trail that leads into the woods. At the starting line, Isaac kneels to tighten his shoelaces but then he pauses, holding still. Gripping the laces, his hands curl into fist as he slowly turns to find Aiden standing on his right, Ethan on his left and Nyx next to Ethan.
Coach blows the whistle and the twins race forward, while Nyx smirks at Isaac before running after the twins. Stunned, Isaac kneels there, motionless but shock falls away as he rises and bolts forward but Scott stops him. "It's them!" Isaac said before running off, "Isaac, wait!" Scott yelled, running after him.
Hurtling past his teammates, Isaac runs after the twins and Nyx. The twins look like they're enjoying the chase while Nyx rolled her eyes, not wanting to join the cross country team in the first place. The three turned on a trail and Isaac slowed to a stop when he didn't see the three anywhere in sight.
All of the sudden Aiden ran out and shoved Isaac down a small hill before him and Ethan ran over. They grabbed his arms and pulled him up to his knees as he tried to fight against them. "Ethan, I always forget - how many bones in the human body?" Aiden asked and Ethan smirked, "I don't know. Let's count." He said.
Before he could do anything Scott ran up and punched Ethan in the face, making him fall to the ground. "That's one." Scott said and then four wolves all flashed their eyes and flicked their claws out while growling. But before they could charge at each other a loud scream was heard making everyone whip their heads around.
"I had money on Scott winning." Nyx said, rolling her eyes. The five of them ran back to the clearing with the rest of the team was gathered. Stiles pushes forward to look while Scott steps in beside him. "It's him, isn't it?" Stiles asked looking at Scott who doesn't have to see the face to know who it was. But no wire was around the man's throat - it was a dog leash.

"Hey, get out of the way. Get back." Stilinski tells the students surrounding the tree. "Get this area cordoned off before they trample every piece of evidence."
"Alright back up! Back up!" A deputy yells to the crowd.
"He was probably just some homeless kid." Coach yells trying to get the students out of there. "Coach," Scott says, walking up to him, "He was a senior." He said, making Coach's eyes widen. "He wasn't on the team was he?"
"He's going to be my favorite teacher." Nyx said under her breath, making the twins chuckle.
"Kyle! Oh god, Kyle!" A girl screams out rushing over to the body.She struggles against a deputy as he grabbed her before she reached the body. She finally relents, falling into the deputy's arms in grief-stricken defeat. "Go on! Go." Stilinski yelled and the team started to walk away.
"You see the way the three of them looked at him?" Isaac asked when they were out of ear shot from the other students and Stiles scoffed. "Yeah, you mean, like, they had no idea what happened?" He asked and Isaac shook his head, "No No they know." He said, making Stiles squint at him.
