I'm running again. Not away from somewhere, but to somewhere.

I don't know where somewhere is. All I know is that by getting there, I'll be happy and free.

The trees whip past my face, I'm running as fast as I can.

Where are you going? I shake the thought from my mind and push harder.

I'll be free once I get there, that's all I know.

What if you're not running to a somewhere, but to a someone? I stop in my tracks.

I never thought about that.

----------------- Time: 7:34 ----------------

When I wake up, my mouth is dry and my body aches.

I sit up and flex my sore legs, I let out a breathy yelp when I get a cramp. Lifting up the tarp of my tent, I see that the trees I slept under shielded me from the dew of the morning.

I don't want to move out of my warm cocoon that was my bed, but I have to. I slowly roll out from under the shelter and into the pine needles nestled next the trees' base. I shiver in the crisp morning air.

The dream from last night still hangs over my head, like a heavy cloud. At least it wasn't another nightmare.

I try to rid the metaphorical cloud by rubbing my face, but only the cloud of sleep is gone afterwards.

What on earth did that mean? I think. I go through the dream and try to pick out clues.

I was going to go into psychology when I graduated, but that changed. I was still interested in the subject though, so I did my own research:

Usually, when you dream, it's your brain's way of storing the information you gained, or used that day.

Also, some religions suggest that they could possibly be visions of what is to come.

I spend a few more minutes trying to piece together the puzzle, before finally giving up on it. I have more important things to do right now.

The fire has burned out, leaving only ashes. I swiftly brush the dirt back into the whole from whence it came, and cover the mound in needles to further disguise that I was here.

I take down my tent and tie it back onto my pack. With a quick swig of water, and a handful of edible mushrooms I found, I have my breakfast.

When all my supplies are in order, and my campsite doesn't look like a campsite, I move on.

----------------- Time: 10:16 ----------------

I get a few miles more into woods before I realize something, my friend Lacentra.

I was suppose to leave small clues for her so she could find me. She was the one who said I should run away.

She knew and understood why I had to leave, and she helped me plan it.

I check my watch, 10:18 A.M., that means in two hours she'll come after me in her dirt-bike.

That's what we had planned anyways.

Good thing there's a creek, she'll know to follow it.

To limit the suspicion even further of my activities, Lace took the classes I took. So she knows about as much as I do out here.
