"Charlie!" Charlie could hear John calling out for her. I have to... She clenched her fists, turning and running back to the door. "Sammy!" She banged her fists on the door. "I know you're there! I'll get you out!"

John watched Charlie as he stood on the pile of rubble. The distance between them wasn't too far. Through the destruction behind Charlie, he saw something moving, pulling on the floor and dragging itself towards Charlie. "CHARLIE!" He sprang off the rubble, at full speed, sprinting to Charlie.

Without mercy, John clashed into Charlie, grabbing her forearm as his hand slid to hers and pulling her as he ran with her, nearly dragging her as she tried to keep her balance over the broken pieces of the house that had been falling apart.

The broken pile of debris submerged their ankles, as they struggle their way through. Something smashed into their backs. John and Charlie felt themselves fly off to the ground. Letting go of each other, they fell to the floor.

Debris flew everywhere, as Charlie turned over to see the thing flipping to it's belly, now using its arm to pull itself closer to her. It was the twisted Freddy. Its large, gaping mouth had a countless amount of sharp teeth. One side of its head was covered with moss, the eyes: an evil pale blue. She backed up into a standing position, as she felt John's hand grab her by the arm again.

She couldn't look away from it. The thing that she had escaped earlier-- the thing that nearly buried her alive with her inside it. She didn't want that to happen again, however.

They were nearly out. John looked up, noticing a broken dresser about to fall off a half ripped floor above, which would fall any moment. Crap. He thought, as he forced himself to run faster. Charlie pointed at the falling debris above. "John! The--" He pulled her in front of him, then pushed her to the floor ahead, where the open sky had been.

John sprang off the floor into a lunge, throwing himself beside Charlie, looking back at the house that was entirely crumbled into a huge, messy pile. He panted, sitting up as he stared at the house. He was relieved. "John, Charlie!" He heard another female voice call. It was Jessica. He looked to see Clay and Jessica jogging over to them.

The loud sounds of crashing and booming had ended. Charlie opened her eyes to find herself on the ground. It felt like she had been there for a long time, but she wasn't. That this whole thing didn't really happen, but it did. She sat up, opening her eyes. She didn't have time to even process what happened, when someone pulled her from under the arms.

Charlie looked up to see Jessica, now smiling. "Charlie, are you okay?" She asked. Charlie felt a scrape on the side of her face and her hand and wrist. "I'm fine." She said. Charlie looked around, scanning for John and Clay, but they were next to where she and Jessica were standing. In relief, she sighed.

"That wasn't a very soft landing, John." Clay said. John was sitting up on the floor. "I know." He was staring at the crumbled house. Clay grabbed his walkie-talkie, speaking into it. "Got all the kids out safely, cancel for back up."

John exhaled roughly, as Clay helped pull him up to his feet. John exclaimed in pain. "You good?" Clay asked. "Yeah, I just ran a little too fast." John looked down at his ankles, but quickly looked away to avoid attention.

He looked towards Jessica and Charlie and attempted to walk over, but he pulled himself back. He started to limp, but he made it barely obvious. "Charlie," he observed her for a second. Charlie quickly put her hand on the side of her face, covering the scrape, resting her elbow on her other hand.

"Yes, John? Is everything alright?" She asked. "Sorry Charlie. I kinda had to pull you around." John said apologetically. "It's okay, John. You meant well." Charlie replied. "We need to get you kids out of here." Clay walked up. What about Afton? Charlie thought, looking back at the house. How did he get away?

The three walked into the diner, all cleaned up, taking a seat at the booth. It was quiet. Everyone had something on their mind.

The bell at the front door chimed, that alarmed employees of incoming customers. "Knock if off." The three heard this familiar voice they haven't heard in-person for a year and looked over to see Marla gently hitting Jason on the arm.

"Ow, stop it!" Jason, her 12 year old stepbrother exclaimed. "I didn't even hit you that hard. Stop being dramatic." Marla said with a serious look on her face, and the moment she turned to look at the group, she smiled.

"Hey guys!" Marla said with a big grin, as Jason made scooted his way into the booth. Marla took a seat at the end. "Hey Marla." Jessica replied. The booth was big enough for three people on each side.

"Hi." John and Charlie said awkwardly. "Charlie, what happened to your face?" Marla turned her head slightly, tapping her own cheek, gesturing to Charlie's. "Scraped it at the house." She said. It was just a light pink scrape. It was obvious if you were up close. "You guys need to tell me everything." Marla said.

John nodded. "Well uh. We went to Charlie's dad's house. Clay, Jessica, and I were following Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy there. They led us to finding Charlie and then we found Afton. There were monstrous versions of Freddy and Bonnie, and also an animatronic wolf. They were more twisted though...it wasn't the old Freddy and his gang that we knew when we were younger." John looked at Charlie to continue.

Charlie gave a small, quiet sigh and swallowed hard. "When we started to try to escape, I saw Afton getting away. I followed him, desperate for answers about Sammy. I had him at a point. I threatened to kill him if he didn't tell me. When the place started to crumble and shake, he got away while we weren't looking. The only thing we had to do then was escape. So we did. And now we're here."

Jessica turned towards John and Charlie. "Maybe Afton died in there." She suggested. Charlie didn't say anything, and John looked at her. "Charlie, he couldn't have survived that." He said. "Mhm, you're right." Charlie looked past Marla. But he escaped. I saw him. She sighed again.

"Who's Afton?" Marla asked. "Dave. That's his last name-- his full name is William Afton." Charlie said. "I thought Dave died." Jason said. John smiled at Jason. "He survived that, Jason." Jason gave an awkward and shy nod.

"What? How? So you're saying Dave can survive getting crushed by sharp pieces, but can't survive getting crushed by a house?" Marla said, argumentatively. "Well-- logically, yeah." John placed his hand on the back of his neck, pressing it stressfully.

"John, Jessica, Dave survived piercing agony. I'm sure he can survive that, too," Marla turned to Charlie and continued. "Not trying to scare you, Charlie." "Don't worry about it." Charlie said, and stayed again, silent. John and Jessica looked around awkwardly.

The waiter came up, as the five got their orders. Once they finished talking and their food, they said bye to each other and left back to where they stayed.
