CHAPTER 2

The door opened after a little struggle of unlocking it. Charlie pushed the door open and entered, closing it behind her. She stopped in front of the door, observing the dorm room. "I got a lot of stuff to clean up." She sighed, crossing her arms and tapping her foot on the wooden floor.

She flopped over on her bed, turning over and thinking as she stared at the roof. Afton...he can't be alive...but he just has to...at the same time. What if John and Jessica are right? What if Marla is right? And he's just not dead? Charlie sighed stressfully.

I just want to see Sammy again. Sammy was her twin brother who was kidnapped at age three by Afton. Charlie saw it all happen in front of her.

The three year old children giggled happily, playing with headbands and toys in a small closet room in Fredbear's Family Diner. That was until their laughter ended, hearing the sound of a door opening. They saw a figure of a familiar, tall rabbit that they'd seen on stage many times. It was approaching them, and slowly crouched, staring at them. The twins, in fear, held eachother by the hands, tightly. The yellow rabbit looked back and forth at the two, as if deciding something. He reached his hand out for the little boy, grabbing him by the collar of his shirt, as Sammy wailed. Charlotte cried out, trying to hold his hand tighter. The yellow rabbit picked up the boy, breaking the twins' grasp of eachother. The rabbit carried the boy out, and that was the last time Charlotte has seen her brother.

She snapped back, and started immediately, picking up clothes and socks from off the floor. Charlie wasn't the very organized person you'd know. She cleaned up soda cans, etc. and put it in the trash.

Charlie folded used towels and put them on the counter, stacked. She moved everything where it practically was. She grabbed her makeup and body sprays, putting them in a separate bag, that way she didn't lose them in her suitcase.

She was about finished when she noticed something in the cabinet of a nightstand between her's and Jessica's beds. The cabinet door was a little bit open in the nightstand. She didn't remember opening these cabinets or using them, however.

Something was hanging out of it. It looked like a doll's leg, but it was striped with red and white stripes. Charlie approached the cabinet, slowly opening the cabinet. There, revealed, was an animatronic doll. Jessica would never buy something like this...

Charlie grabbed it. It was metallic, sorta. I don't remember having this at all. She observed it. Its whole body was made of metal. The design was...neat, yet creepy.

The limbs were long, about one and a half feet. It had dark eyes and squarish teeth. There were neat slits on the face that went across the face up and down, side to side. They were like faceplates. Charlie thought nothing of it, as she assumed it was just wiring behind them.

It didn't look like something her father would make. It was.. weird. She decided she'd observe it more later while she visits her aunt, then stuffed it in her suitcase, now zipping it up. She looked around the room one more time, making sure she had everything.

She walked off the campus into one of the parking lots, where her friends were piled at.

"Hey Marla, aren't you staying in Hurricane?" Charlie could hear John ask. "Eh, for a bit. Might still be here when Charlie comes back. Since we just kinda got here. Huh, Jason?" She ruffled his hair. "Yeah...okay, can you stop?" Jason drew himself downward, backing up away from Marla, annoyed.

"You know you care about me." Marla said, attempting to annoy Jason more. "Ew, no. You're weird. Stop being weird." Marla laughed at Jason's response. "You'll regret that one day." She said with a laugh.

"Hey Charlie." Jessica waved. "Hi guys." Charlie said with an awkward smile, opening the trunk of her car and putting her suitcase in. Should I tell them about what I found? Charlie wondered. Jessica ran up and gave her a hug. "I'm gonna miss you." She sniffled.

"Jessica- I'll be back in two weeks." Charlie said with a smile. "Gonna miss you." Jessica repeated, hugging her tighter, then released. "Thanks, Jess." Charlie said, now approaching John and giving him a hug.

"Thanks for everything." She whispered in his ear. "No problem, Charlie. Plus the fact I can't emotionally comprehend if anything happened to you, haha..." He muttered audibly to her, chuckling. She laughed awkwardly. "Yeah, sure."

She released, now approaching Marla and Jason, giving Marla a hug. "Mmmm, I'll miss you Charlie!" She hugged her tightly. "Ack-- Marla-" Charlie struggled. "Oops, sorry Charlie!" She laughed awkwardly, releasing. Charlie laughed. "It's fine."

Charlie looked down at Jason, now lowering herself to his eye level. "Be good, okay?" She said, patting him on the shoulder. Jason nodded, as Charlie stood up.

"We'll see you later, Charlie!" Jessica threw her arm up, waving, as Charlie got in her car. "Bye guys." She said. "Bye." John and Marla said, as Charlie pulled out of the lot, and left to Aunt Jen's.
