As instructed by Mrs. Lee, Yul wore blue and went to the basement. She saw Felix already in the car waiting for her. He opened the gate for her and closed it when he saw her sitting comfortably. He sat on the driving seat.
"Won't you say anything?"
Yul nervously side glanced at him, then looked forward."What?"
"I mean, won't you say how I am looking or something?" She said while biting her lips, expecting to hear something.
"You wanna hear something? Don't you?
He looked at her then forward."Ahmm.. I meant th-"
"You're looking breathtaking. You always look. Whatever you wear, I always find you pretty"
"Thanks," She said with a little shy and amused smile.
"So where are we going?"
"You'll get to know"
He stopped the car.
Being a gentleman, he opened the doors for her, held her hand, and brought her to the seat facing the beach.
She was mesmerized by the view. Her eyes were sparkling like it did before when she saw the waterfall. Felix knew that she liked such places. And this was the reason why he brought her here.
"You liked it?"
"I loved it. Thank you for bringing me here. "
"I have a gift for you,"
"What is it?"
"It's a surprise,"
"Ahh... please tell me... I can't do jobs that require patience"
He chuckled
"Well, I have a doubt,""What?"
"That will you like it or not,"
"For that, you have to show it to me first,"
"Just wait, you'll get it.
Oh, see, cotton candy. You sit here. I'll bring it for you. "He held her by shoulders and made her sit on the bench, then went away to bring candy floss. She sat there with a smile and eyes on Felix filled with love and satisfaction. Just then, her eyes fell on man who bought candy floss and gave it to her daughter. It reminded her of her childhood. How she used to come on every weekend on the beach with her mother and father.
Her father used to bring her candy floss.
How she played in the water, with sand. She used to write names and make castles with her mother. She looked down with sadness and then upwards only to see Felix coming with a big smile, which made her smile too. As soon her eyes met with him, her eyes brightened up.
She was no longer sad, and her heart was filled with content. Whenever she feels down or sad, all she needs to do is see him, and then she'll forget everything.
His smile was like a medication to her.
Medication to uplift her mood even in the worst situations."Here, take this," said Felix while handing her the candy floss. He then sat beside her.
