Barbara is married and a devoted wife to her dear husband Reginald E. Hammonds.
Barbara is the Pastor, Overseer of FIRE Ministries (Tried In The Fire Ministries, Inc.)
A Training Center in California. She stands in a prophetic ministry and is a highly anointed minister of the word of God. A Gospel Podcaster featuring several shows to Empower, Equip for battle and motivate, a Christian Influencer.
A recognized Evangelist, motivational speaker, Bible teacher, and counselor. She operates heavily in the prophetic gifting, spiritual warfare and flows gracefully in the areas of the power over rejection, healing the hurts, inner and outer beauty seminars and the Ministry of Praise and Worship. In 2013 Barbara and her two brothers formed Revival Center Ministries of Bakersfield and Co-Pastored the training center which merged into FIRE Ministries, Inc. 

At the age of 4 years old while standing at the side of her father's death bed, the word of the Lord was declared upon Barbara Nutt and her siblings, "You will all preach the Gospel." The word of the Lord was fulfilled and today they are all sanctified and preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Barbara served and birthed forth a personal ministry of deliverance called, "Tried In The Fire" in ministry for over 40 years. She has served in the past as the ministry assistant to the late Doctors Marvin and Juanita Smith, and the "Free Indeed Deliverance Ministry"which sponsored the "Spiritual Warfare Clinics" and "The Day of Deliverance Ministries".

Barbara has been active in the Church of God in Christ (C.O.G.I.C.) and served as the District Missionary to Bakersfield, Ca. for many years; now currently without a charge. Formerly under the Prelate Bishop Charles E. Blake in the Southern California First Jurisdiction. She was a lifetime church member under Bishop Nathaniel Duffey, Sr. and the St. Paul C.O.G.I.C.  She has sung and recorded gospel music and is remembered by many as the tall Duffeyette in their singing group.  Barbara served as a Co-Pastor and Worship leader for Royal Dominion with Pastor Sunny King Eme and to Exalted Word Tabernacle of Praise and The Greater Circle Mission of Los Angeles under Pastors Leroy and Anna Toliver.

Barbara is the President of Ambassadors Emancipation Homes, Incorporated, and has sponsored Project L.A.M.B.S. That stands for "LET ALL MANKIND BE SHELTERED." She is a Licensed Realtor, a Notary Public and Property Designer and Developer. The founder and co-owner of Duffey Construction and Development Company, and the Trinity Professional Building Firm, Inc. For over 35 years She has been active in building God's kingdom in the spirit and helping ministers in the physical buy and build churches and tabernacles.

A member and sorority sister of the Beta Pi Sigma Sorority, Inc. the Epsilon Chapter of the Los Angeles Business and Professional Women.

Barbara retired from the communications field after 29 years of service. She is the mother of three children, two sons and one daughter; all three have been active in full time ministry. She is also a proud Mother in Law, Grandmother, Godmother and friend.
