Sakura POV:
My day started out fine, I was surprisingly free today and Sarada was in Konoha since Oka-saan wanted to see her, and so I decided to do some cleaning. It's been awhile since I've cleaned my estate anyway, so I did. But before I did, I put on my comfiest black turtleneck and blue pajama pants. What? It's not like anyone was here to judge me anyway.
"Finally finished!" Ah, I've never seen my house this clean and god do I love it.
After that, I thought I could get some long awaited self care time-
RING RING
The landline phone rang.
Oh great.
" Good afternoon, this is the Tasha estate, you're speaking with Sakura Tasha, how many I help you? "
Hopefully this is just an old neighbour calling to complain about the noise. Or maybe one of those fancy scam companies! That would be fun dealing with them-
" Polite as always Sachan. "
A familiar cocky voice said. God I can hear the smirk by his tone.
" What do you want
It's not like I don't like Mitsuki, I just wanted to have some me time. But since Kamisama hates me, I ended up baby sitting, AGAIN.
Surprisingly though, Mitsuki was actually quite easy to handle this time! Then again, the last time I took care of him was when he was 8, I think? Whatever, it doesn't matter. But maybe I could actually have some self care time! But ofcourse a few minutes later, Haku called. Much to my displeasure, I never really liked using my phone. It was constantly monitored, I barely got any privacy. But nonetheless, I accepted the call.
It started out fine with some casual talk, "How are you?" and a simple reply of, "Fine as ever, how about you? How's being a Sensei treating you?" and so on.
Yes, Haku is a Sensei now. I know, crazy right? Even my younger self would've laughed at how ridiculous that sounds, but I am no longer young. I'm old, tired, busy, the list goes on. At some point in our conversation, I ended up telling him all about leading the sound village, how difficult it is to do any sort of trading when you're a surviving member of the disbanded Akatsuki, how I never get any privacy, and how I'd kill for some umeboshi right about now.
Then he asked if I would visit soon. And, from past experience, let's say whenever someone asks me that, usually shit hits the fan, or the call ends with a dissapointed, "oh, alright.." So I left the room, knowing I'd probably say something I don't want Mitsuki to hear.
Besides, It's not like I DON'T wanna go back, I really do. But to be honest, a part of me is still scared to go back. The last time I was there was helping Pein attack the village, it wasn't a great memory for both her and the village. And other than that, the last time I saw anyone in the Konoha 9 and had actually interacted with them was when we were fighting on the opposite sides of a war. It wasn't until Sensei decided to help them to get a somewhat pardon for all the war crimes we've commited, have I started to recconect with the Konoha 9.
I've half expected someone to blow up on me, telling me reasons why I could come back and all, but never once did I think Haku would be the one to do so. Maybe... Maybe this would be the time for me to actually explain why I DON'T wanna go back. Not right now atleast.
But before I could finish my sentence, I heard Mitsuki scream. And it wasn't one of those funny screams Kabuto would make, this was a blood curdling one. One I'd hear on a regular basis back when I was 16. "Mitsuki?! Mitsuki are you okay?!" I screamed while running. When I was almost at the room, I could hear something, a suction like sound? Whatever it is, it's horrifying enough to make Mitsuki shout. So before I went in I said to Haku, "Haku, something's- something's wrong, I can feel it," I said. Trying to keep my voice low so that if anyone was inside, they couldn't hear me, hopefully. "I think... I think I have to go Haku-Kun. I'll call you again later, if I don't then," I paused. "Send help."
Before he could answer, I ended the call and left my phone on a nearby table, then ran inside, only to see a giant purple circle that seemed to be sucking everything inside the room. I looked at Mitsuki, poor kid was holding on for dear life to the couch. "Mitsuki! Hold on I'm coming!" I said, hoping to give the kid some comfort. "Oka-sama don't! You'll get sucked into-" but before he could finish the sentence, the thing successfully sucked the couch in, and in turn sucked him in aswell. It then started to close. So, out of panic, I hurled myself into the portal. Then suddenly,
Everythings fine, until it's not.

- Umeboshi is one of Sakura's favourite foods! It's said to be a kind of sweet plum.
- Kamisama is God translated into Japanese. ᕦ( ⊡ 益 ⊡ )ᕤ
- Mitsuki used the term "Oka-sama" because it's a term that can be used to refer to other people's mother. Whereas Sakura uses the term Oka-saan to refer to her own mother. However, people can still refer to other people's mother as Oka-saan. (• ▽ •;)
- Mebuki doesn't ask Sakura to visit because she knows that Konoha reminds her of things she'd rather not remember. So instead she asks if she could visit Otogakure!
- Kabuto and Sakura have a Brother Sister-ish bond. Which is a partial reason as to why Sakura appointed him as her Assistant.
- Haku, Naruto, Ino, Mebuki, Tenten, and Lee are the only people Sakura has recconected with and kept in contact with that she knew before she went rouge.
- She did not get trained by Tsunade, but she does still have a diamond on her forehead. Which she gained by reading books made by Tsunade, and doing the training written there.
- Orochimaru is kept away from both Sakura and Kabuto as part of Konoha's demands in the peace treaty.
- Sakura didn't really expect Haku to actually blow out his feelings since Ino has blew up on her multiple times. However they always made up.
- Because she can't have her daughter with her, Mebuki asks constantly for Sarada instead to visit in place of Sakura.
- As part of Konoha's demands, Sakura has to undergo therapy every once in a month.
