I was on my way out of my dorm and down to the Nightshade Library. I had no idea what the others had planned, and I was anxious. Would they force me to do something bad or was the whole thing a ruse or was I already accepted? My mind was racing.

I hurried to the Edgar Allan statue and snapped twice. The statue moved and I rushed to the staircase and walked down. It was dark and I couldn't see any of the eight members anywhere. I stood in the center of the library and my thoughts started to come back again. Was this a prank? Are they gonna let me join or were they kidding? No, Xavier wouldn't do that. I was so wrapped up in my thoughts that I didn't notice someone walking up to me from behind. Someone had placed a bag over my head again. I was mad. It was truly irritating. I was sat down on a chair, again. Luckily, I wasn't tied up this time. Then, the bag was pulled off.

Eight people stood in cloaks without the masks this time, in front of me.

''I got a sense of déjà vu right now, guys.'' I said, annoyed. Yoko chuckled at what I said.

''Are you ready?'' Bianca asked me, mysteriously.

''I guess?'' I repeated the same answer I gave them the last time.

''The first thing. We must know what you are. We are dying to know.'' Bianca said. Seriously, is that all I have to do to join? Okay, I guess.

I took my hand out in front of me and in the direction of Xavier. He watched me closely. I looked him in the eyes and clenched my fist. He almost fell down to the floor, holding his head and wincing in pain. Karma. I started to feel bad, so I stopped the migraine I gave him. I didn't want to show them a more powerful spell, so I just showed them a little party trick I liked to do occasionally. The others stared at me, and I noticed Yoko was holding in a laugh. The poor vampire had heard me complain about him a lot and I think she enjoyed that as much as I did.

''I am a witch.'' I told them. ''Sorry about that, Xavier.'' I told him sincerely.

''It's ok.'' He said quietly.

''Okay, that can be useful. Now, to become a member of this society you must do a prank on one of the teachers or Weems. That's it.'' Bianca told me. That's it? I was so nervous for nothing? I just had to tell them what I was and then do a lousy prank? No wonder Wednesday rejected the offer to pledge.

''Okay. Follow me.'' I said.

The group followed me as we went to Principal Weems's office. I thought really hard about her office being full-on pink, and when I snapped my fingers, everything in her office turned pink. The walls, floor, chair, desk, and the decorations. It was an awful look, but the prank was fun. Everyone started laughing and Bianca snapped a picture of it. We went out of her office, and I quietly snapped my fingers again – undoing everything. I didn't want to get in trouble with Weems for a silly little prank.

We went down to the Nightshade Library, and that's when the real fun began. Bianca had brought alcohol with her, and we were going to have a small party with just us. We played a few drinking games.

I stupidly suggested the idea that we should listen to Baby by Justin Bieber and drink every time he said the word baby. In the end, everyone was wasted.

Yoko suggested that we should play truth or dare as our last drinking game since we started to run out of alcohol. Thank god, we did not need more.

''Bianca, truth or dare?'' Yoko asked the siren.

''Dare.'' She answered boldly.

'' I dare you to make out with the statue upstairs.'' Yoko told the girl. We all laughed while Bianca made a grossed-out face and said: ''Ew! But okay.''. The siren went upstairs and made out with the statue while the group watched, trying to contain our laughter. We couldn't risk getting seen by one of the teachers, that would be extremely bad considering not a soul was sober. We went downstairs when Bianca was done.

''Kent, truth or dare?'' Bianca asked the boy.

''Dare.'' He answered.

The game went on for a couple of rounds and nothing bad had happened to me yet. Some laughable dares were completed - I had to kiss Yoko and Bianca. It was not a pretty sight when we three girls were wasted. However, my luck went out.

''Xavier, truth or dare?'' Yoko asked him.

''Dare.'' He answered, the boy had yet to pick truth. All of the dumbest dares were of course completed by him and Kent.

''I dare you to kiss Jasmine.'' She told him smugly. I looked at her and then at him. Oh fuck. I was scared, I would totally make a fool out of myself now. I wanted to kill and thank Yoko right now because of that dare.

Xavier who sat next to me glanced at me.

''I will drink.'' He said quietly to the rest of the group. Everyone booed but I had been drinking too much and had no self-control.

''Are you scared to kiss me, xavi?'' I teased him. He glanced at me with a confused look. I had never given him a nickname before, but it slipped out of me in my drunken state.

''I didn't want to do it because I don't want you to be uncomfortable.'' He whispered in my ear. I stared into his eyes and before I knew it, he smashed his lips against mine. Our lips moved in sync as he held my waist tightly, and I ran my fingers through his hair. So soft. I accidentally grabbed a fistful of hair at the base of his neck, and Xavier softly moaned onto my lips. Hearing a ''ehm'', I pulled away from him. I blushed and Xavier quickly moved back to where he first sat. I could tell that he was a bit flustered too. I looked at Yoko since I began to feel awkward, but the girl was grinning at me.

''Okay, uhm. Kent, truth or dare?'' Xavier said to relieve the tension in the room. The game continued and no one said anything about the little moment we had.

A few rounds later, we decided to end the party. I said goodbye to everyone and hastily walked up the staircase and headed back to my dorm. When I reached my dorm, I climbed up into my loft.

I was embarrassed. Drunk Jasmine was an idiot and even though I didn't regret the kiss, I was mortified about doing that in front of everyone, including his ex. I decided to stop my self-loathing and went to sleep, hoping no one remembered it in the morning, but luck was never on my side.
