" I'm not a pretty princess and I'm aware of that, so I like music that is really intense, really bold, and characters that in a way almost have a dark side and are kind of evil because, for me, that's when I feel my strongest and fiercest, when I'm not necessarily the good girl ".

The Ubiquitin are a rare form of Vampire. I would know. I am one. I was born carrying a hidden gene. This gene or molecule attracts protein. It's quite unique, cancerous you might say. It traffics itself on protein in your body and creates wild shenanigans, such as cellular roadblocks, infections, inflamed hearts and cancer. This 'new' protein is a real killer. This little monster runs like a starving vampire to another system in your body: the proteasome. The proteasome obeys the Ubi and takes your protein to the morgue. Gonedy. So, if you get a little nibble from our kind: you're dead. Many of your kind left this world as we know it because they were within the vicinity NF-kB, got infected and poof... they died. Then there are the strong one's with the unique germ cell and for whatever reason they don't die. They become one of us. Me... I was born like this. Which is even more rare because full term vampire embryos don't exist. Their mother's protein purifies and kills the baby. You can take away the humanity from a Vampire but you just can't wipe out the cells. Not completely. Duh. We feed on blood...protein! That blood perpetuates and reconstitute our unique ubique cells. See. Win win for us Ubiquitin, most of the time.
The crappy part for me is I can never hold onto a boyfriend. UHG. You'll find out why soon enough.
