friendship band

Something just reeled me up, imagine Loki receiving a friendship band from you. He's going to be so skeptical as you go to him, a wide grin over your face as you cough, hiding it behind your back.
"What is it? Darling, what are you hiding?" Loki asks, raising a brow with a smile.

"It's a gift," you smile, walking towards him, "Give me your hand," You mumble, and the God blinks, not sure what you have up your sleeve, still giving into your excitement and extending his hand. You carefully wrap a green-colored bracelet across the metal of his Asgardian outfit.

"A bracelet- very well," he tried to make sense of it, why a bracelet when you two already have rings of each other's names.

You look at him, squinting at the bland reaction, "Well excuse me my liege, we Midgardians are often introduced to little ceremonies to keep our futile lives memorable," your poker face along with the language switch was adorable to him. enticing a chuckle from him as he rolled his eyes.

"Oh come now, princess... no need to get offended. I was just curious, that's all." he leans in, carefully examining the bracelet

You facepalm with a sigh, "It's a friendship band, Lo"

"A friendship band? Why am I getting a demotion from your other half to a mere friend?" he furrowed his brows, thinking what did he do wrong, why would you just- do that?

"No- no oh my god!" you chuckle, cupping his face and kissing his cheek with a loud 'mwah'

"God, you are fucking adorable, I am not taking your-" you did air-quotes sassily, "Husband-role away from me. Just telling you that you are my best friend as well,"

He looked at you again, trying to make sense of the situation, "Well, sure if that friend gets to please you at night," smirking at his direct flirtation.

"Why yes- I even gave it to my other friends, for example, James- maybe he can also do-"

"Shut up, little one."

You giggled, watching him pout slightly

"You are my best friend as well, Loki."
