*Lylith's POV*
"Josh, I don't know that's the problem..." I mumbled, rocking Sage side to side in my arms, phone pressed against my shoulder and ear. "He hasn't been seen in a week !" I protested. "We know he is safe, he has contacted Ricky.." Josh argued. "Josh ! She is his child !" I shouted back. "He needs time !" Josh and I were currently arguing, I think Chris needs to man up and take care of his daughter and Josh thinks what he is doing is understandable, not the right thing to do, but understandable. I realised Sage had finally fallen asleep in my arms and I put her down in her cot. Josh was currently out of town doing some work for something.
"Whatever, Josh." I rolled my eyes hanging up. I walked out of Sage's room and about nearly collapsed. I'm so fucking tired.
*Chris' POV*
I was scrolling through the photos on my phone, the last one was a picture of Blaze looking at her stomach that I took a week before Sage was born.
"Chris !?" Anne called out. Yep I was currently visiting Electra and I hadn't realised but Anne had gotten back. Electra and I were lying out in the Balcony staring up at the sky. "Hi Anne." I got up and hugged her. "What are you doing here ?" She asked. "I...I still haven't gone back." I mumbled. "Oh Chris." She cooed. That's what I liked about Anne and Electra, they treated me like a human being and didn't push me to do anything. "Okay well I'm going to make some Tea would anyone like anything ?" She questioned Electra and I. "No thanks." We said at the same time. I'd taken a strong liking to Electra she may only be seventeen but she's a pretty cool kid, she's very open minded and she's kinda great to talk to. It's probably really weird I'm friends with a seventeen year old, wow. I hadn't thought of it that way. "The world is a stupid place." She sighed locking her phone and placing it down. "Oh hell yeah." I sighed. "I mean what is the point of it all, we live, some reproduce, we die. Sure some people will cure cancer or be famous celebrities but eventually we're going to die out and after that everything that was once our world will be gone, forgotten, they'll maybe not ever know we existed. Why do we bother, Chris ? ... Why ?" She questioned. "If only I had the answers El, if only I could tell you." I sighed.
