"This looks familiar. It's the haunted monument from the family vacation photos. Jinkies!" Velma says as the group is exploring a graveyard.

"I'm so glad you decided to come along Alexis. It's not often I get to hang out with my cousin." Daphne says happily.

"Me too Daph." Alexis says as she smiles.

"Check it out Scoob. These are the guys who became zombie ghosts." Shaggy says as he gestures to some statues.

"Zombie ghosts? What's that?" Scooby asks.

"They're like regular ghosts. Only more zombier-er." Shaggy says.

"They don't appear very lively right now." Alexis says as she looks at the statues.

"That's how ghosts work don't you know? Always popping up when least expected. Tight squeeze. A little too much junk in the sattle bags." A voice says revealing to be a ghost as it comes out of Velma's tablet.

"Ghost!" Scooby shouts as he and Shaggy hide behind Alexis.

"Oh yeah. He's our ghost." A brown haired boy says as he, another boy, and a girl come over with a dog.

"Hold the phone. Who are you guys?" Fred asks.

"We're the Funky Phantom crew." The group says.

"Jonathat Wellington Muddlemore at your service. The spirit of 1776 even." The ghost says as a ghost cat appears scaring Shaggy and Scooby.

"A ghost cat!" Scooby and Shaggy shout fearfully.

"Yeah right. Give me a break. Ghosts are not real. What?" Velma asks as she looks at the head of the ghost before it disappears and reappears on its body.

"We're here investigating the Civil War zombie ghosts." A boy says.

"Really? We're here for the same reason." Alexis says as the boy looks at her.

"Because we're mystery-solvers. Well all of us but Daphne's cousin Alexis. She's just tagging along with us for a little while to visit." Fred says.

"This is great. We're both groups of teenage mystery-solvers. We should work together." Velma says.

"It'll be fun. And we can solve the mystery in half the time." Daphne says happily.

"What do you guys say? Wanna solve this mystery together?" Fred asks.

"No offense but we're experts. We're the real deal." The red haired boy says.

"Uh we're the real deal too." Fred says.

"We've been doing this a long time. I'm not sure why you would say that." Daphne says.

"It's a proven fact. We're extremely legitimate mystery-solvers." Velma says.

"Come on guys. Do we really have to do this?" Alexis says.

"We're so legit we even got a mystery-solving mascot. Our dog Elmo." April says.

"Apparently we do." Alexis thinks.

"Yeah well. Like we've got a Scooby-Doo. That's even better." Shaggy says.

"You know it." Scooby says happily.

"Yeah. Well we've got a dune buggy called the Looned Duney." A brown haired boy says as he gestures to their vehicle.

"We've got a van with Mystery Machine painted right on the side." Fred says as he gestures to the mystery machine.

"Paint that yourself did ya?" The brown haired boy asks.

"I totally did. Hey!" Fred shouts.

"Well kiddies. Now that us professional mystery-solvers are here you B-team amateurs can take a hike." The red haired boy says.

"We like hikes as much as the next guy. But we're not going anywhere." Fred says sternly.

"This is our mystery." Velma says as the group hears Shaggy and Scooby screaming and sees ghosts with a canon.

"Cannons! Attack!" The ghost shouts.

"I don't like explosions. Or implosions. Make that all-plosions already..." The phantom says.

"Run!" Alexis shouts as both groups go in different directions to get away from the attacking ghosts.
