You wake up around noon, all the phones are buzzing.

Y: what's going on? *you raise your head from Carlos' chest* wake up *you cuddle Carlos*

You realize you're still naked, you put some clothes on and take your phone.

Y: yeah ? *you hear a lot of noice* Benjy?

Gr: hey ! Happy New Year ! *you smile, you kinda forgot about that* - can you switch on your camera? *you smile*

Y: I just woke up, honey *you hear her blow* - wait a second

You pick a brush, brush your her put some water on your face and take the phone back.

Y: better *you switch on your camera, Grace smiles* better? *she nods*

Gr: we wanted to wish you the best year ever *you smile*

Y: I wish you the best year ever too *you sit in the bed, next to Carlos* - Carlos ? *you kiss him to wake him up*

B: we should call the entire family *you nod*

Y: not sure George would be awake though

L: he is, he answered our text

Y: then call everyone, I will try to wake Carlos up

You hang up, kiss Carlos, he starts to wake up.

Y: your phone buzzed - it must be your fam wishing you a good year. *he nods, you cuddle his hair*

He goes to the bathroom and your family calls you.

Y: hey everyone, happy New Year ! *everyone was all smiling* I wish you love and success! And everything that you need

You talk for a bit, long enough so you wonder what Carlos is doing.

Y: Carlos ?

Ca: *he comes out of the bathroom* yeah?

Y: oh, ok *you smile at him* do you want to join? *he shows you his mother on his phone and start talking a language you don't understand*

L: where is he?

Y: calling his family, I believe

Gr: will he come and say 'hey'? *you shrug*

Y: I hope so

You wait not long til Carlos comes back.

Ca: I will call back *you smile* I wanted to be there too *you smile*

You raise a bit just so he could sit against the wall and you between his legs.

Ca: Happy New Year everyone!

Gr: Carlos ! So how is Norway? *everyone smiles*

Y: does everybody knew before I? *she nods, you giggle* - thank you - we've seen deer!

Gr: real ones ? *you nod, she smiles at her mother*

Y: look *you send a picture*

Gr: just in front of your cottage? *you nod* so cool *you giggle*

You spend a bit of time talking with them then you start cooking lunch.

Ca: hola hermanas

B: Carlos ! feliz año nuevo ! *he smiles*

You watch him speaking a language you don't understand a word. He smiles a lot, he seems to love the person in the phone.

A: we can speak English *you smile* - please, it's not as if we were mom and dad *you smile*
