Ferris sat at his dinner table, aching for an answer correlating to the person who broke into his house last night. He looked through the window in the dining room, a single bird sat on a thin branch. He kept staring out the window until sudden rustling footsteps were heard from outside.
He got up from the dining chair, ambling slowly to his room to fetch his wiffle-bat (which had actual engraved nails in it.)
Walking slowly towards the door with a stance in aggressiveness, the person rung the doorbell.
"Hellooo? Anyone home? It's me, Halu! Foo- Ferris? Are you home?!"  Halu repeatedly pressed the doorbell button, until Ferris finally opened the door.
Halu, Ress, and Elle were surprised to see him holding a bat in hand. "Uh.. You good, buddy?" Halu held both his/her hands up.
Ferris got out of the silly stance, easing the bat down. "Oh. Oh, it's just you guys. ...Wait, who're you?" He pointed to Elle, who was standing next to Ress.
Elle tilted their head. "It's me, Ephe! But just call me Elle, since that's my actual name!"
"Ah. Well, it seems like I've met everyone so far.. Except for.. Y'know." Ferris shrugged. "Wait, why are you all even here? It's like 4:00 PM."
Halu turned to look at both Elle and Ress, then turned back to Ferris. "Well, we've come to ask you, have you seen a clown-dressed guy randomly appearing in your house or at least outside? The three of us have been wary about this guy for awhile now, and we wanted answers!"
Ferris raised his eyebrows. "You guys have seen him too? I guess it's great I'm not the only one seeing this.. Person. But.. Did you see him disappear in a flash when he left your rooms too?"
The three of them nodded their heads in unison.
"A-and.. I also saw him at my front door this morning! He was just staring at my house, and then.. Vanished..!" Elle made a 'swoosh' sound at the end to make it sound ominous and menacing.
Ferris stepped out of his house, placing the bat on the ground. He suddenly realized something. "Did.. Did glitter fall to the floor when he vanished..?"
Elle nodded their head.
Ferris put his hand on his chin. He stared at the sky, until something came to mind which was intrusive. "Wait.. I think I know who it is.."
Halu tilted his/her head. "What is it?"
"..Guys. I think we might be dealing with Whim haunting us. I've always had the strange feeling someone was just.. There. Behind me, watching my every move." Ferris checked behind himself, just in case.
"I think you might be on to something.. I mean, look at how he dresses, and how he disappears in the blink of an eye like Whim! And- and-" Ress hyperventilated.
Halu put their hand on Ress' shoulder. "It's gonna be okay, Ress. But seriously.. We gotta find out who the hell this 'Warren' guy is if we don't wanna die in our sleep tonight."
"Then we won't sleep." Ferris implied.
Ephe looked at Ferris for a second. "Why though? I might pass out if I don't sleep on time!"
Ferris was silent for a minute. He looked around, trying to find a solution to keep everyone awake. "Wait, I've got it. Coffee. Except there's more caffeine."
The three of them just stared at Ferris like he was crazy.
"What?" Ferris asked. "Oh. Ephe- ELLE can't have coffee."
Elle made a pouty face. "Yes I can too!" They stomped on the ground.
Halu snickered. "Leave it to the adults, Elle! It's not safe for you to do dangerous stuff, anyways. You're a kid!" He/she patted Elle's head.
"Oh, crap. Do you guys wanna go to a more secluded area to chat about this? People can hear us.." Ferris' voice hushed like a wisp of air. He looked around cautiously.
Everyone nodded in agreement.
"B-but.. Where will we g-..-g-go?" Ress stuttered.
Ferris let out a small smile. "I know where. It's in a forest I always went to as a little kid. C'mon." He lead the way to the path leading to the city.

12 minutes later..

They stumbled upon trees and bushes in such a way that seemed as if they were covering something. It was quiet, no houses were near by, no construction, just mere silence. Except for the animals and insects cackling in their natural instinct. The sun shone ever so slightly through the leaves and branches.
"Well, we're here." Ferris turned towards the three of them.
Halu tilted his/her head, uncertain about the setting they were all in. "Hey, what's so special about this place? You told us it could do stuff!"
Ferris held in a chuckle. "It's not magical or anything, but I've discovered it's trees are said to be soundproof." He turned to the trees, pushing the leaves and branches out of the way to get inside the small area.
What was revealed was a secluded area. There were tree stumps lying about, almost like cottage-core chairs.
Ferris stood there like he was holding a door open, except they were just leaves he was opening to a gaping, "secretory" place. "Right here, we can talk h--"
Suddenly, there was a rustling in the bushes. It sounded like someone was playing with.. Glitter? There were audible sparkling sounds coming from left yonder way.
The four of them zipped their mouths shut quickly, shifting their heads towards the sound source.
"What the hell is that coming from?" Halu whispered vigilantly.
Ress shrugged their shoulders. They sweat profusely, shaking in fear.
The absurdity didn't stop there, though. Next thing they knew, water was floating in the air like kites in the wind. The shapes of the water morphed into dolphins, rocket ships, any object that moved in the way of a shooting star.
Ferris seamlessly stared at the sight of the show that was put on. He suddenly realized something. "Guys.. It's him." His voice was hushed.
"Him who?" The voice was suddenly right in front of Ferris.
Ferris jumped back, startled by the stranger who, with no context, shifted reality and teleported. The sun and the moon were face to face with each other.
"It's you again!" Ferris took a step back with caution. He slightly lifted his arm up in defense, in case Warren vigorously attacked.
Warren tilted his head. "Oh, I'm not gonna hurt you, darling!" He chuckled after saying darling.
Halu, Ress, and Elle quickly recognized the strange parlor of his style in clothing. Ress was the only one who was too afraid to notice his clothes when they first met in real life, since their whole world was blurring. (I TOLDY OU I USE WORDS THAT DONT MAKE SENSE like parlor I DONT KNOW WHY BUT MY BRAIN LAGS AND MAKES NEW MEANINGS FOR WORDS I NEED MENTAL HELP!1!1!1!1!)
Ferris stared Warren down for moments on end.
"What, you gonna stare at me forever, silly?" Warren grinned.
Ferris rolled his eyes. He was sure, in his brain, that this was Whim they were dealing with. "..No." He turned to the three of them, looking straight on in the distance.
Warren giggled. "I have to go, bye!" In a flash, he disappeared without a trace of him left.
The four of the gang stared in awe, their faces baffled by what they've just seen.
"Bye. I think I'm gonna need 16 years of therapy for that." Halu said, in a joking manner.
They all kept staring at the spot Warren disappeared at.
