Hiii so before I start this I'd like to say that since Hikaru has a crush on both Haruhi and Brookie in this story there will be two different parts to this. One where he goes on a date with Haruhi and another where he goes on a date with Brookie so we'll go by the show so first up is Haruhi! The two part will be in this chapter because yes.

Haruhi: nobody's pov

Today was the day Hikaru had decided to go on a date with Haruhi. His twin Kaoru was supposed to go but he had set up Hikaru with her instead. Haruhi, however, caught on to this and questioned Hikaru. He told Haruhi "Kaoru is sick, so he wanted me to go instead." He said in a bored tone.

They wandered all throughout the town, they talked, went shopping and got food. The hosts of course were watching them. Tamaki was jealous as he usually is and made minor steps to have them avoid contact he wasn't okay with seeing (aka eating ice cream together -_-). Haruhi and Hikaru ended up having a lot of fun, but soon it all went downhill. (I forgot what happened so bare with me here) Hikaru and Haruhi had met with Arai at his shop, Arai offered to give them a ride but Hikaru declined. Haruhi, however, suggested that they should take the ride to get back faster. Hikaru got upset once again and left Haruhi alone.

The hosts: pov nobody

Tamaki was pacing back and forth. He saw the thunderclouds forming and Haruhi or Hikaru haven't came back to the cafe yet and it began pouring rain. The rest of the host's watched as he sped walked back and forth, mumbling to himself "I hope Haruhi is okay..where are those two...?" Unable to hold himself back anymore, he marched straight to the phone and called Hikaru. A tired "hello..?" Was on the other line. Tamaki began freaking out, asking all sorts of questions on where they were "I don't know where Haruhi is.. I thought she went back, it's not that big of a deal, maybe she went back to-" he was interrupted by Tamaki, who was angry that Hikaru didn't sound like he was taking things too seriously. "Get up and go find her! Listen here. Haruhi is absolutely terrified of thunder, anytime she hears it she gets so scared she can't even move!"

Silence....

Then a dial tone. After Hikaru hung up he ran in search for Haruhi. He ran all over the place but found no sign of her. The last place was the church a little ways away from where he was, so in a tired huff, he ran to the church. Sure enough as soon as he opened that door he heard shuddering and a small whimpering from underneath the pedestal. He slowly approached it, lifting the fabric to see Haruhi, huddled in a ball and covering her ears with her eyes shut tight. Without much thought he placed his headphones on Haruhi and sat next to her. They stayed there for the night.

Time skip

Haruhi was upstairs change clothes and Hikaru was being scolded. Brookie was just watching the scene unfold, eating popcorn from god knows where. Honey sat next to her eating cake and giggling at the scene. Everyone ended up hanging out and joking, Tamaki was insulted and went to sulk in a corner for a few seconds and came back when Haruhi offered to share some of her cake with him knowing he would do it to try and be romantic.

It ended well!

Brookie: nobody's pov

After everything that went down, Brookie thought it would be a good idea to set up a little hangout with Hikaru to take his mind off of things. She talked to Kaoru, who relayed the message to his twin, and he agreed to it, of course. She didn't think of it as a date, but Hikaru did, and he kinda freaked out a little bit, but he didn't want anyone else to notice.

He eventually pulls himself together and is waiting outside.

"Hey! You ready?" Brookie asked, now standing beside him. He took one glance only to look again (this is mad fruity)

Brookie's outfit

He couldn't help but pause before continuing on. "Yeah, I'm ready, let's go." He says as he begins walking, focusing hard on what's in front of him and not what's going on next to him.

They enjoyed themselves none the less, they had gone to get food. A few sweets for Honey ( he asked Brookie to while she was out) and got a few trinkets here and there. They talked, made jokes and would just sit and enjoy each other's company for a moment. Hikaru thought it would be ending soon because he felt a small droplet of water on his face. "Oh no.." he mumbled he turned towards Brookie and was about to ask, but before he had the chance it began to start pouring. In almost an instant Brookie sped off into the rain and started running around, laughing, watching for lightning, listening for the loud claps of thunder. She quickly looked at him and beckoned him over to join her. He smiled and started to decline, but a wet hand had grabbed him and pulled him into the rain, pummeling him to no end. They ended their day playing in the rainy weather.

Once they came back Tamaki had questioned why they were gone so long and was about to scold Hikaru again, but Brookie had stepped in and explained everything. Tamaki decided to let it go and told them to simply go take a shower and change before they get sick (better you than me Tamaki, Brookie is your problem today -_-)

Brookie had given the sweets she found to Honey and headed to Haruhi's room to talk about today and check and see if she was okay. After a bit of talking they decided on calling Ray since they haven't talked in a good bit. "Well, you guys have been through it, huh?" Ray chuckled. "Oh! I have something to tell you about you know who" Brookie said raising her eyebrows. Ray made an excuse to leave, but not before getting back at her "hope you had fun on your date with Hikaru!" And before Brookie could protest the call ended.

It was about time for them to call it a night.

Hey y'all! Been a long time. I've just had absolutely zero motivation. My English teacher squeezed all of it out of me with his stupid weekly essays. Anyway I hope you all are having a great summer! If you are still in school have a great day! Enjoy your weekend loves!
