Back- Side chapter

SHE'S BACKKKK!!!! Hey guys it's been such a long time since I've even touched this story or wattpad in general, I've been working on school and after school programs that have been taking up all my time so, I used any free time for myself or dating life,or I was sick lol, ya know..I haven't given Mori and Ray their little side chapter, so that's what it's about today! Let's gooooo!!!!

These past few days, Ray hasn't been at the school. Brookie walks into the club room as normal and is greeted by a panicking Tamaki, filling the empty room of seven with words nobody could understand.

Brookie's pov

I watched Tamaki run around the room rambling on, Haruhi seems a bit tired. I sit next to her and start some small talk, asking how each other's day went, what we're doing after. A few minutes go by, and the twins are leaning over us, Hikaru between me and Haruhi and Kaoru on Haruhi's left. "What are you two talking about?" Hikaru asks, looking between me and Haruhi "oh nothing really" I smile in response, Hikaru turns away from me (did you guys really think I forgot about his lil crush?) Kaoru looks around for a bit and asks, "where's Ray?" I look up at him "oh, her class went on a field trip and was sick when she came back.." Tamaki had overheard and stopped pacing the room "she's sick?..how bad is it?" I tell him that it's just a small infection and she'll be fine! Tamaki panicked a bit more and then had told everyone to get ready, they all got up, but before they could leave me and Haruhi stopped them "she's sick! Leave her alone for the day or she won't get any better!" I agreed with Haruhi "she is pretty bad..we wouldn't want to get anyone else sick so we might as well just leave her be for a bit" I smile. They all stop and agree.

Nobody's pov

Ray laid in bed with a pregnant Coco, her belly big, she looked like she was about to pop any second. Ray pet her little belly as she purred in her sleep, she coughed, startling Coco a bit, but going back to sleep. Ray hears the door bell, she pauses but get up. Ray knew Brookie was working after club activities but she thought maybe she had gotten off early and went to go groceries, maybe she needed help. She had gotten up, careful not to wake Coco, she had fixed up her pajamas and headed for the door.

She opened the door "hey! You're home early, I could've sworn-" she stopped in her tracks to see Mori. Before he could get a word in, she slammed the door. "What the hell?!" She whispered to herself. She tried to stifle a cough but failed "Brookie said she's working a bit late..I brought you some stuff" Mori said to the door. She sighed, trying to calm herself down and opened the door again "..come in" she mumbled, she stepped aside for him to enter, she shut the door and sat at the couch. She watched as Mori placed the bag of things on the table in front of her "where's Honey? He didn't come?" Mori only hummed in response before saying, "he needed to get home and I didn't want him getting sick." Ray nods and looks at the bag. "What's that?" She opens it to find soup in one bag and medicine in the other. "Oh! Sweet! Thanks Mori" he hums and grabs the soup and heads to the kitchen. Ray follows him "oh, that's ok! I can do it" Mori looks down at her and tells her to go sit down, but she doesn't listen "you know, I'll probably eat this later on. I'm not really hungry, but-" Mori grunts "I said go sit." He throws Ray over his shoulder and heads to the living room, he struggles to put Ray down since she's moving around so much, but he manages.

He plops her down on the couch and returns to the kitchen.

Time skip

He had sat next to her for a few minutes, trying to get her to eat. She would refuse because her throat was hurting. Eventually she gave up and ate, he watched her and made sure that she was okay "slow down, it's hot" she nods and continues to eat. "Thanks..you didn't have to do this" she smiles a bit and looks up at him. He nods, he looks away "you're welcome..." a few more minutes go by of Mori taking care of Ray and Ray trying to refuse his help but failing.

She's been given food, tea, cough medicine and before he knew it, she was curled up on his lap asleep. He looked down at her and smiled softly. He went to pat her head, like he would normally do with Honey, but he stopped himself and just let her sleep.

Brookie's pov

I finally got home, the lights were off except for one. I saw Ray wrapped in a blanket, sleeping soundly. I saw a note on the table

'She ate a little while ago and took medicine, she's just resting for a bit. I hope she gets better soon

-Mori'

I smiled and laughed a bit at the thought of dealing with Ray's attitude and resistance. I sighed and headed to my room.

Time skip a few days

Ray was finally back! She was feeling much better and went on as if nothing happened. Brookie and Ray were talking to each other in the club room as usual when the doors open. Honey came in first "Ray-chan!" He ran and hugged her, luckily Ray was in front of the couch so when they crashed they had little impact. Mori came in next, Ray turned to him. They made eye contact for a second before Ray turned away like a weirdo.

Everyone is talking and joking, Ray had walked over to Mori, who was sitting down "hey..um, thank you for helping me out" he hummed in response. Ray smiled and waved before heading back to Brookie.

Mori smiled a bit.
