POV Alpha King Conri Peryio

"What the fuck do you mean he is in a coma he can't be in a coma, I just found him." I say and I grab the doctor by the throat and hold him up against the wall. He is gasping to get oxygen in his lungs while clawing at my hands.

"Conri, that's enough." my brother says, but i don't let my grasp go.

"I will not stop Conrad, my mate is in a coma and this useless doctor can't do anything."

"Don't make me get momma over here." Conrad threatens me with our mother. Our mother may be a human but the whole pack is kinda terrified of her. There was one day when our father accidentally called our grandmother a bitch and she went ballistic on him. She kicked him out of the house, literally kicked him in the ass then, she threw all of his clothing out of the house and lit them on fire. Conrad and I were just laughing the whole time, our father looked so terrified.

He later told us that he thought she was going to cut off his penis and balls with the way she was going.

"Go ahead, see if I care." I snapped at him.

"Fine, but you deserve this." he said then proceeded to punch me in the face full force knocking me to the ground while I let the doctor go. The doctor falls to the floor while getting the much needed oxygen into his lungs.

"What the fuck was that for?" I ask him while standing back up onto my feet.

"You were going to kill the doctor, so I had to stop you somehow." he tells me with a smug look on his face.

"Fine, whatever." I angrily say to my brother then ask the doctor, "do you know when he will be out of the coma?" I ask with hopefulness that it will be sooner rather than later.

"I honestly don't know when that will be Alpha King. However I can do some blood tests to see if he is a human or a wolf. Hopefully that will tell us if he will be awake sooner rather than later." he tells me.

I wonder how you can tell from a simple blood test whether somebody is a wolf or not. "And how do you know through a blood test that he is a wolf or not?" I inquire very suspiciously.

"It's simple really, in humans their DNA structure is a double helix whereas with you and your brother you have a triple helix DNA structure. A DNA structure contains all of your body's information. You each have your human side which is the double helix but since you are part wolf you have a third Helix containing your wolf's DNA." the good doctor explained to us but I didn't understand a damned word he just said.

"Okay, Doc, I understand you but I think my brain dead brother here, who is drooling and looking like a fool, needs you to explain it like he is in grade 1 please." Conrad says while poking me in the face to make sure I'm not brain dead.

"Stop poking me in the face, jackass." I say slapping his hand away from my face ignoring his previous comment.

"Okay i will try. So in a sense you each have one extra strand of DNA, which contains your wolf's DNA. So when I do the blood test I will be looking to see if this boy here has a double or triple DNA structure. If he has two strands then he is human, but if he has three then he is a werewolf." Oh, so basically he is going to tell me what I already know, that he is a werewolf.

After the doctor takes what seems to be a lot of blood he tells us, "This is going to take the rest of the day and the night. Why don't you two go back home and eat something and get some sleep." Why is this doctor trying to separate me from my mate? I am not leaving his side.

"I am not leaving his side until he wakes up from his coma. He is my mate and I will never leave him alone whether he likes it or not, and you aren't going to stop me doctor." I snarl at the doctor.
