Chapter 5 POV Alpha King Conri

Why does my mate look terrified all of a sudden? And why did his eyes change to Red? Is it because I told him that I know he is a Snowy White Wolf? That can't be it, could it? "Mate, why do you look terrified?"

"Please don't experiment on me Alpha King. Please don't, I will do anything you ask of me but please don't experiment on me." he whispers out with a very shaky voice.

"Kill the bastards that have experimented on Mate" Quicksilver growls out venomously.

"Was that your wolf?" Mate asks, shocked with orange eyes this time, how very curious.

"Yes yes it was, sorry I let him slip out, it won't happen again. His name is Quicksilver, do you remember your wolf's name?" I apologize.

"Unfortunately no, I cannot even feel my wolf at the moment." Mate says while tears start to form in his eyes.

"Mate, can you not call me Alpha King, start calling me Mate or Conri please?" Mate just nods his head in an understanding way. "Would you like to see my wolf? Maybe my wolf coming out fully might get your wolf to come forward in your mind?"

"That would be nice to see your wolf, and hopefully mine comes forward a bit." Mate says with glee and sadness in his voice.

"You wish is my command Mate." and with that I turn into my wolf silently without taking my clothing off.

"Wow, you are a very handsome wolf Quicksilver, and you are black like the night." My Mate says with purple eyes now.

"Eyes." Quicksilver questions.

"Oh you noticed my eyes, yeah my eyes change color according to how I feel. all of my Omega brethren used to do that as well, before that night happened." More tears start to fall from my mate's eyes, Quicksilver notices and goes towards Mate, towering, and nuzzles his head under Mate's hand and gives out a little whimper trying to comfort his mate. "It's okay Quick, I will be fine." At the mention of the nickname, Quick, Quicksilver's tail starts to wag incessantly, hitting the table with loud bangs every time causing Mate to give a little scratch under Quicksilver's snout with a little laugh.

Quicksilver's tail starts to wag faster and his hind leg scratches the air. "Looks like I found an itchy spot, Eh Quick?"

Suddenly Quicksilver freezes as he hears a very quiet and pained "Help m-".

"What's wrong, Quicksilver?" I am a little worried about my wolf, he doesn't just stop like that for no reason. So I go back into my human form.

"What's going on Conri?" My mate looks at me a bit puzzled but I just ignore him for the time being because Quicksilver won't stop howling at me.

"Quicksilver, get a hold of your self and tell me what the fuck is wrong with you?" I yell trying to yell over him howling at me in my mind.

Finally Quicksilver stops howling and tells me, "Mate wolf, help him!"

"What do you mean?" I question him, puzzled.

"Mate wolf said help me!" He growls at me frustratedly.

"How do I help Quicksilver, and don't you growl at me if you wont give me the full story stupid."

"Fine stupid head." He huffs at me. "Get Doctor dumb dumb." I throw my hands in the air frustrated with Quicksilver and turn to look at my Mate. He looks completely puzzled as to what's going on.

"Sorry Mate, so I have to ask you a question? When I was in wolf form did you hear anything from your wolf?"

"No I haven't, should I have?" This isn't good, Quicksilver heard his wolf but not him. What could that mean?

"Well I was just speaking to Quicksilver and he heard your wolf."

"Quick hear my wolf before me? What did my wolf say?" great now he looks excited, this is going to be hard to tell.

"Unfortunately it wasn't anything good. Your wolf said "Help me" and I don't know why but I am going to go and talk to the Doctor, I will be right back okay love?" All he did was nod his head. So I turned around and headed out of the hospital room and mind linked with the doctor to get here now. After about three minutes the Doctor shows up and asks what's wrong so I explain the situation.

"Okay, the only thing I can think of is that his wolf could be in a coma and he managed to reach out to Quicksilver somehow. I still haven't gotten all the blood tests back but I should have them very shortly. I suggest that you explain to your Mate what is going on, I will be back with the results."

"Okay, will do Doc, and thanks." With that I go back into the hospital room and explain the situation to my Mate. After about ten minutes the Doctor returns, checks my mate's status board at the end of his bed and puts a paper in it..

"Okay, so all blood tests are back, and I have a few questions for you. In the last 5 days have you eaten anything suspicious looking while in wolf form?" The doctor asks.

"No, I haven't Doctor, I have only been eating meat that my wolf either killed or found." I can smell and see my mate getting stressed out from him not knowing what is going on. So I grab his right hand into my left hand and give his hand a quick peck.

"So the only thing that I can think of is maybe one of the animals that you had eaten was poisoned with slow acting poison that can kill wolves but not humans, I am sorry there is nothing I can do, this poison is unknown to us." the Doctor said with a weighted down voice.
