It's crazy seeing little Abel all grown up as a four year old. I mean the last time I saw him he was born to a druggie mother. the doctors weren't giving him a high chance of survival. and I threatened Jax that I'd beat his fuckin ass if he didn't go see Abel.

I was the main nurse that worked practically around the clock tending to Abel. I was the only one that Fed him, changed him, and made sure everything was doing great. I knew I didn't have or don't have a doctorate degree but me being a pediatric nurse I have enough knowledge that I could take care of Abel.

When he was moved to a different part of the hospital that's when my family member needed me. and I had to leave.

I had promised Jax that I'd come back. and though it had taken me four years to do so I am back and I am never leaving.

I am back to working at St. Thomas and some of the colleges I had back then had moved or got a higher degree and moved up to a different area.

I enjoy being back in my home Town. I enjoy being with Jax, I just enjoy everything occurring in my life. and me being Abel's legal mother makes things even better.

I now sit here after a long shift watching Abel playing with his toys as the guys come and go in the clubhouse and the croweaters bustle about doing whatever it was they do.

"crazy how he had grown since you saw him last huh?" 

I looked over at Gemma and nodded

"I am very happy to see that he is grown and doing great. that he fought and proved that dumb doc wrong" I say

"Tara was one of the doctors that worked on him and gave him the same low chances" she says

"yeah and she's stupid too. so glad she buzzed off back to Chigaco with that Atf dude" I say

"you and me both baby. cause you deserve to not only be Abel's mother but Jax's wife, the future queen of this club. I mean hell you and I get along like a bear to honey and you know how to handle shit." she says

"and not to nark or say a word about what the guys do apart from mechanics and biker enthusiasts," I say

"that's right" she say

"mommy," Abel says

"Yeah, baby?" I asked

"can I have something to drink?" he asked

I nodded and stood up took his hand and walked with him to the kitchen and got him some juice.

"thank you," he says

"Welcome," I say as I kissed the top of his head and we walked back out to where he was playing with his toys.

"Think you'll have any kids?" Gem asked

"I hope to have some. just have to see what's in my cards" I replied

"you will be an excellent mom" she says

"thank you" I say

"no baby thank you for being a mom my grand baby needed" she says

"welcome" I replied

she kissed my temple before she walked off.

"how bout you and I go outside to the swings baby?" I asked

"ok"he says 

I took his cup to the kitchen and cleaned it before I scooped him up and carried him out to the swings.

"hi darling. hi bud" Jax greets

"Hi daddy" Abel replied

"Hi love" I say

"where you two off too?" he asked

"Swings" Abel says

"how bout we go grab some lunch?" Jax asked

"alright. I am hungry" Abel says

"sounds good," I say 

"I'll follow you out" Jax says

We headed to a little restaurant and had us a nice little family lunch before we headed back to the lot.

While Jax was working between the garage and the clubhouse Abel and I was having fun on the little play area.
