the waiting game for Tommy's arrival was a long one so it seemed. and apparently, he wasn't in any hurry to come into this world the day that he was supposed to. 

I was a bit worried cause I thought something may be wrong but my doctor had assured me that plenty of babies don't come on their due date. 

They told me if I remained pregnant by the middle of this month then they'd induce me.

When I had asked if I could do things to get myself into labor. she told me there are plenty of things that I can do and some of which Jax can help me with.

after I learned what could induce my labor I went home and thought of which ones I'd give a try.

I was sitting at the kitchen table reading and re-reading the paper.

"castor oil, pineapple, acupuncture or pressure, exercise, sex, nipple stimulation, & herbal remedies." I read aloud

"what is all that for?" 

I looked up at Jax standing there leaning on the doorway.

"inducing labor. doc said that these things can help if I wish to get Tommy here. cause if he's still not arrived before the middle of the month then they will induce me" I tell him

"which are you wanting to try?" he asked

"well I had snacked on pineapple and he's still not coming. so that's out. I'm not getting poked with little needles, and some of the herbs are disgusting" I replied

"so sex and nipple stimulation?

"which is a form of exercise so yea." I replied

"let us go then," he says

I get up and put the paper on the fridge before I follow Jax to our room.

I had just pulled down my top wanting to see if just the nipple stimulation would work before proceeding with the other.

"what would you like me to do play with them or suck them?" he asked

"both," I replied

"alright," he says before he came over and got comfortable, and made sure he wasn't putting any pressure on my stomach.

he took hold of my right tit while he latched on to my left and started massaging my right and sucking on my left.

I raked my fingers through his hair and closed my eyes.

"This feels so damn good Jax baby" I commented as I opened my eyes and watched him play with my breast and suck.

when a cramp hit I reached down and fisted the covers.

"switch tits it's helping," I tell him

he pulls back and does like I said and this time he adds suction on my right nipple as he adds a little pressure while messaging my left.

that's when the ball started rolling.

"grab the bag Jax and make sure your mom can pick Abel up please," I say

He fully pulled back and looked at me.

"you're in labor?" he asked

"Yea that worked," I say as I pulled my top back up and moved to get off the bed stopping when my contraction hit while Jax grabbed the bag and called Gemma.

Once Gemma was contacted and everything else was taken care of Jax helped me out to the car and we headed to the hospital.

I had called my doctor and told her that I was in labor and headed for St.Thomas now.

By the time we had arrived and I was up in a room, changed into a gown, and monitors and other things were connected to me they checked to see how far dilated I was when another contraction hit.

"alright you need a few more to go and you'll fully be dilated I'll inform your doctor when she arrives and we'll get this baby boy taken care of" the nurse says

"thank you," I say

she nods and walks off.

"you are the strongest woman I know. I didn't ever think any woman would not want to be numbed with an epidural" Jax comments as he stands beside me.

"I figured it was too late anyways so why want something I'd not be able to get," I say

it took roughly five to seven hours before Thomas was born. after everything was cleaned up and the afterbirth was taken care of. the nurse that had taken our son to weigh and check him over came back with him bundled up and handed him to me.

"he's perfectly healthy. weighs a total of seven in half pounds and six ounces" she says

I thanked her and the others as I held Tommy close to me.

I looked from Tommy and up at Jax.

"he's so perfect," Jax says

"he's got your blonde hair like Abel" I tell him

"he sorta looks like Thomas," Jax says

"I hope that doesn't upset you, JT, or Gem," I say

"Nah baby, I love it and I know that mom and dad will too," he says

I nodded my head before looking back out at our son.

He was perfect and from the time I had seen Thomas, he did in fact look like him.
