He fell. From a wormhole leading to the real world, to be exact.

Jax groaned, rubbing his head as he sat up from the fall. He closely observed his surroundings, his blue eyes catching sight of the green pixelated ground he sat upon. Lifting his head a little more, his eyes looked at the nearby bushes, hills and mountains. Then, something in the distance caught his eye.
A guy. Another person! He could ask this person where he is and how to get back to the real world. He looked busy though, hanging out with what seemed like little creatures in the distance. He didn't want to disturb this man accidentally, but at the same time he'd like some closure..
Jax got up, adjusting his hoodie and walking over to the person in the distance. Getting closer, he was a lot shorter than he thought. He hesitated to get any closer to him, that is until the shorter man looked up at Jax. He was surprised that another person was right here in front of him. He stood up, his hat just barely reaching the height of Jax's shoulder.

"Hello!" The shorter one smiled, happily greeting Jax while adjusting his hat so that the brim wasn't obscuring his eyes. He gave the taller one a big smile, continuing his sentence. "What brings you here?"
"I, uh.. I fell from a wormhole." Jax answered, sighing as the shorter man looked up at him more.
"A wormhole? I can help you get back if you want?" The person in the yellow and cyan cap offered before sighing. "I completely forgot to introduce myself. My name is Junior, I live here in this world."
"Junior, huh? Familiar name.."
"I'm sorry?"
"Oh- uh, nothing. Jax, nice to meet you."
"Pleasure's all mine!" Junior smiled, shaking Jax's hand. That name.. it sounded a little familiar to him. It then hit him.
He's that guy from a video game he owns! The protagonist! Maybe playing the game is how he somehow ended up in this 8-bit world..
Junior continued to stand with good posture, shoving his hands in his cargo pants' pockets.
"Now then, we should probably get you back to the real world!" He suggested, with Jax subtly nodding. He was so friendly, and acted a lot nicer than he expected. Junior began to ask Jax on his whereabouts so he can find the exact wormhole to his house. Jax provided good information: his address, what the house looked like, just basic information like that. Junior walked behind a tall, green hill and had his hand glitch into it, opening a wormhole and letting Jax peek into it to make sure it was the correct location. To his surprise, it was! It looked just like his bedroom and how he left it when he was sent here. He was shocked that Junior was able to get to the correct location so quickly.

"How were you able to do that so fast?" Jax asked, adjusting his hood as Junior let out a chuckle. He turned around while still holding the wormhole open.
"It's happened several times before. It's easy to hear and make out the locations and their details that people tell me. Although, you've probably given me the best description of your house out of all of the people that came here. So.. maybe that's why I was able to find it so fast." The shorter one signaled Jax to get closer to the portal. The taller one sighed and thanked Junior for his help.
"Thank you, really. I thought you.. maybe wouldn't take it seriously."
"No problem! I hope sometime in the future we cross paths again!" Junior waved goodbye as Jax traveled through the portal, landing in his bedroom. He stood up and rubbed his face.
Junior..
Maybe he's not as bad as he had once thought. He was a huge help after all..

Maybe he wouldn't mind ending up in that 8-bit world again.
