As Junior led Jax into his house, he held his wrist gently, urging the taller man to follow him into the living room. The house was very well kept; it wasn't messy and was very colorful, with LED lights illuminating the living area in a bright blue color. Junior sat down on the couch, signaling Jax to go sit next to him. As Jax walked into the living room, his eyes caught all of the game systems the atariboy owned, as well as the shelf full of games sorted by game system. It was clear that Junior really cared about his house being neat and organized for visitors. It looked so pretty.
The atariboy smiled, placing his hands on his lap as he turned his head to talk to Jax. Doing this, he decided that now would be a nice time to strike up some conversation.
"So Jax," Junior started, making sure his bangs weren't obscuring his face. "What kind of things do you enjoy doing?"
"Well, I don't really do much.. I sort of distance myself from most people so I don't have any sort of friend group. But I like taking care of my body by helping it stay fit." The taller man answered, with Junior nodding as he listened. The shorter one made sure that Jax was done talking before he chimed in.

"It's okay to not want a friend group." Junior laughed, noticing that Jax was a bit nervous about the topic. The taller one placed his hand on the back of his neck.
"Do you really think that?" He asked, with Junior nodding eagerly.
"Sure. I could kinda tell from our first interaction that you don't really like to socialize. I'm the same way, except I want to but I can never seem to do so.." He let out a sheepish chuckle. Maybe Jax and him had more in common than he initially thought..
Hearing the reassurance made his heart jolt in a way that he hadn't felt in so long.
Jax, a bit curious about how Junior views the world, asked about why he doesn't socialize a bit further.
"You don't really have to answer, but why do you never socialize with anyone? You.. seem like such a sweet person and yet you're always here in this little game world.." He asked, maybe spilling a bit too much about how he really felt about Junior. The atariboy smiled as his coral red eyes darted away for a second, then caught a hold of Jax's eyes once again.

"It's more of a fear that people won't like me. It's like I want to befriend more people and all, but deep down I feel like I'll do something that'll make them think I'm annoying or something." Junior rambled, trying to play off the dire statement with a soft chuckle. Jax frowned under his mask. The fact that deep down, Junior thought he was annoying, was false to him.
"I don't think you're annoying. You're genuinely so nice to me and everyone around you, you have this.. this charm that's so likeable, you're helpful.. You have so many positive traits going for you. You.. seem like such a good person, really." Jax rambled, letting his emotions finally show. Junior's face grew a bit more pink at the unexpected words, his subtle, nervous smile turning into a more noticeable and genuine one.
"Wow Jax, I appreciate all of that.. I do." The atariboy smiled, still a bit speechless from what the taller one expressed. He hesitantly placed one of his hands on Jax's wrist, his grip gentle as always. They both really enjoyed eachother's company, and it showed.

"So, um.. Jax.." Junior started, his nervous smile returning. Jax listened.
"Would you like my number? Y'know, if you want to talk to me more? I feel like we could be really great friends."
Jax's heart jolted once again. Without any other thinking or fear clouding his thoughts, he nodded eagerly. Junior then asked the other man for his phone so that he could input his phone number in his contacts. He then gave him his phone back. Sending a test text message, Junior made sure that it got through to Jax's end. With the practice text successful, the two sat on the couch with big smiles on their faces. Junior then turned to Jax.
"Wanna maybe.. play a video game together?" The atariboy offered, with the taller one nodding.
Jax smiled. For the first time in forever, ever since his last breakup, he felt.. butterflies. Good ones, of course. He genuinely enjoyed Junior and how friendly he really was.

He was beginning to fall in love, and he was fine with it.
