"𝗔𝗔𝗔𝗔𝗔!"

Early in the morning they were woken up by Lyla's screams.

'Why did Lyla scream?'

Y/n pull the blanket. She could feel Crystal getting off the double decker bed. The bed was shaking.

"What's the matter with Lyla?" asked Crystal as she pinned her hair.

"I don't know. There's something wrong," Y/n answered

She saw Ruby and Samuel, who were still in their pajamas, cross her room and go downstairs. Coincidentally, the room door was wide open.

'What's all the fuss this morning?' Y/n groaned inwardly. Everyone looked worried. Y/n was also wondering what happened to Lyla. Her beloved niece was not the type to cry without a reason.

The child was very cheerful and never bothered her mother, Millie. It's really strange to hear her scream like that. Not long after, Mrs. Kim's loud voice was heard.

"Ruby! Samuel!"

"Yes, mom!" said Ruby as she quickened her pace.

Her mother was seen standing with her waist crossed.

She gasped for breath.

"What's the matter, mom?"

"Hurry up!" insisted Mrs. Kim and turned and hurried out of the Cafe.

The four of them looked at each other before following Mrs. Kim out of the cafe.

Four big words painted in red are plastered on the cafe's main door.

Not far from there, Daniel was persuading Lyla to stop screaming. He is worried that the neighbors will panic when they hear the screams this early in the morning. Millie was nowhere to be seen. Maybe the shift at the hospital isn't over yet.

Mrs. Kim's face looked very angry like a lioness while snarling her waist. Her eyes stared at Ruby and Samuel.

"What have you both done? Borrow money from a debt collector?!!"

"No! I've never borrowed money from anyone, mom!!!" Ruby said as she wiped the paint off with her finger.

She wiped it many times but it didn't disappear. The paint is hard to remove.

"Perhaps the debt collector has the wrong address. Want to call the police?" Daniel asked as he held Lyla.

His daughter sobs can still be heard. Lyla's nose was red from crying non-stop since earlier.

We need to report to the police. If we don't report, it will mess up our business. I'm worried too. Who knows the debt collector will come back and disturb the customer," said Samuel.

"Yes. It's a problem if debt collectors are involved. It's better to report to the police first," said Mrs. Kim while taking Lyla from Daniel's arm.

Then appeared two men called by Samuel to clean the paint. They dispersed and went to their respective rooms.

It's time to get ready to start the day.
Y/n, Ruby and Crystal took turns showering. Seeing Amber sleep well as if she didn't want to know what happened, Y/n shook her head.

'What does she want to be? she doesn't even care a bit about what's going on in this house,' Y/n said

After showering, Crystal played and watched cartoons with Lyla. Y/n was relieved to see that Lyla had started to laugh and not cry like she did earlier.
