It seems that the park does not have many visitors, only a few elderly people are doing taichi exercises. The dog that was huddled in one corner of the park walked away when it saw the three of them.

"The stray dogs seems afraid when they see you." Y/n said as soon as she sat down on the stone bench.

Lyla sat on her lap. Because her left hand still tingled from falling earlier, Y/n massaged her hand slowly.

"It's not. It's just that when you're facing a dog, you have to be brave. If you're scared, That's why the dog feels like it wants to chase you," Jeongwoo replied while rubbing his eyes.

"Oh, like that huh?"

Despite doubting Jeongwoo's answer, Y/n refused to question. She took out the yogurt she had bought and handed it to Lyla. The little girl was so happy after getting the yogurt. From earlier she just kept silent as she watched her aunt chat with a man she didn't know.

"You didn't jog today?" asked Y/n

Jeongwoo just shook his head. Actually Y/n felt awkward. She didn't know what topic to talk about with Jeongwoo. Suddenly she felt regretted following Jeongwoo's invitation to come to the park.

"Umm, I don't see any stray dogs here either. There were a lot of them earlier. Thank you Jeongwoo for accompanying us. I think it's okay now. The dogs will not came back... I guess?," Y/n said hesitantly.

"Ah, it's nothing. It just happens that I want to take a break and get some fresh air here too," Jeongwoo answered.

Y/n nodded her head. Looks like she had to agree. Jeongwoo already said that, she's not going to tell Jeongwoo to go anyway. She could only remain silent because there was no topic to talk about.

Lyla started to be friendly with Jeongwoo. She has started to play and joke with the young man. Y/n just watched them both. It seems that Jeongwoo is good at persuading and taking Lyla's heart. The small child giggled as Jeongwoo tickled her body.

"Hahahahaha... uncle pls stop! it's tickle."

"Hahaha! not yet~" Jeongwoo continues tickling Lyla.

Y/n watched Jeongwoo's gestures closely. She watched the young man's face. His eyebrows are thick, his smooth skin beats the skin of a women. To Y/n, Jeongwoo's looks and style look good compared to other guys these days. This man's skin is slightly tanned. His wolf-like eyes looks tempting.

In addition, a wild aura clearly radiates through the look on his face and his pointed nose. The row of clean white teeth is quite charming.

'Wild? He's like...' Y/n was shocked when she realized how she felt about Jeongwoo.

She looked at the young man. Irony indeed. The so-called wild boy was busy playing with Lyla. The young man caressed Lyla's hair which was soaked in sweat. Y/n was stunned.

'Hmm... he's handsome too,' she said.

She could feel something in her heart. But she wasn't sure what that feeling was.

𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚! 𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚! Y/n's phone rang. Y/n snapped out of her daydream and immediately answered the call.

"Hello? yeah, we are at the park now. Oh, really? Okay. After buying the paint, we will go straight back to the cafe," Y/n ended the call.

"Already settled?" asked Jeongwoo. Lyla smiled in his lap.

"Yes. The police have finished the interrogation and took pictures of the cafe. But Ruby and Samuel have to go to the station too. Umm... you know Samuel, right?" asked Y/n

"Yeah, I'm a loyal customer of your cafe, remember? I've talked to Samuel before," replied Jeongwoo

Y/n nodded. She felt embarrassed when Jeongwoo stared at her with a sweet smile. Then she reached for the yogurt from Lyla's hand and gulped it down.

"Jeongwoo, I'll go first okay! I want to go buy something for a moment. Then I'll go back because I have to open the cafe. Let's go Lyla," said Y/n and took Lyla from Jeongwoo.

"Do you want me to help?"

"It's okay. We can do it. If you're free, come eat dessert later."

"Hmm... but I can't eat dessert today. It's okay. I'll come later in the afternoon," Jeongwoo said, scratching his head.

"Okay, sorry for bothering you so early in the morning. Lyla said bye-bye to uncle Jeongwoo."

"Bye!"

Lyla who was shy before is now quite friendly with Jeongwoo. She lowered
her small body that Y/n was carrying to approach Jeongwoo. She wanted to kiss the young man's cheek. Y/n had to follow her niece's wishes.

Y/n snuggled up to Jeongwoo who was sitting on a stone bench. When Lyla kissed Jeongwoo's cheek, the distance between Y/n and Jeongwoo's nose was only about 10 centimeters.

𝗗𝗨𝗕! 𝗗𝗔𝗕! 𝗗𝗨𝗕! 𝗗𝗔𝗕! Y/n's heartbeat quickened. Both sides of her cheeks felt hot. She immediately grabbed Lyla's shoulder before rushing to leave the park where the strange atmosphere was lit. Jeongwoo just looked at Y/n and Lyla who were walking away while rubbing the scar on his left hand.

"Is that the 'Heir of Magic' that you are talking about?" asked a man who suddenly appeared from behind a tree.

He was fair-skinned, tall and his eyes shone with a cunning aura.

"What are you doing here?" asked Jeongwoo as he stared straight at the man now sitting next to him.

"Did you forget? I reminded you to wear contact lenses before going out, right? Your dog told me yesterday that you had a toothache. That's why you went out in a hurry, right? I thought you must want to meet that girl."

Jeongwoo was not interested in agreeing or disagreeing with what was said. What's more, his gums on the right side are still throbbing. He could feel his cheeks swelling.

"It's a pity to see you. In my whole life, it's the first time I've heard of a wolf with a toothache-"

"Can you just shut the f*ck up?! you little piece of shi*!" Jeongwoo jerked as he swung his fist at the face of the man next to him. The action is drastic. His anger may be because he is enduring a toothache or perhaps he doesn't like being asked question after question. Unfortunately Jeongwoo's punch missed. The man grinned mockingly at Jeongwoo. His lips turned up revealing two fangs. If anyone saw it, they would be scared.
