Chapter Eleven:Things Are Getting Interesting

Amuete had been sitting with a grim visage since two hours ago after the report came in that all the distribution bases in America had been brought to the ground, he hadn't uttered a single word and that was leaving his men on edge. The situation was worsened by the ringing of the golden phone, which Amuete picked up with hesitation.
"I didn't expect you to pick up", the voice on the other side spoke.
"Quit playing, I still wonder how you know this line, and you obviously knew I was going to pick up. What do you want this time?"
"You should have gotten the report by now, don't say I didn't warn you. Now are you willing to work with me?"
"Who are you?, The fact that you could hack into this line and give information about the dark agency's movements makes you very suspicious. I want to at least know your name and goal before I make my decision to dance in your palm"
"Huhuhu, an interesting way to put things, for now you can call me 'Sylph'. And my goal is obviously the fall of the Dark Agency"
"Pretty big goal there, So you'll help me by giving me information about the dark agency's movements and I should connect you to my brother?"
"Yes that's basically it, are you in or not?"
"Knowing my brother, this is something he'll find interest in, but if you could get to me you could have gotten to him directly so why are you playing roundabouts?"
"That is just so that you'll see my value, besides who better to convince him than his blood brother. If you hadn't foolishly gotten on Wilfred's bad side you wouldn't have the Dark Agency looking to clear your business out."
"Fine I'll do it, if I connect you to my brother, the leader of Twilight you'll help me prevent the Dark Agency from squashing me and you'll also help us bring them down?"
"That's about right, you have three days to convince you brother, if you're not ready after three days then there would be no saving your business, and to help with convincing your brother, just tell him that Rogue the salvation is the agent who wiped out your branches in the United States, that's credible and high Intel you won't get anywhere, bye bye".

After ending the conversation with the mysterious person, Amuete who looked lost a moment ago had a glint of hope in his eyes, if he had asked his brother for help earlier he would have only turned him down and told him to be a man and solve his own issues since his brother sook merit in everything. Even though the Dark Agency was a sworn enemy of Twilight, to fight them will only result in a loss, but now that they had an advantage in information which he controls, he should be able to convince his brother since he has an important contribution card to play.
"Pedro, prepare the copter, we're going to meet my brother"
"Yes boss, right away".
Taking a short nap after the mission, Rogue awoken to the sweet smell of breakfast being prepared and headed down to the kitchen where Candy was making it.
"Oh You're awake? I borrowed your kitchen to make branch if that's fine with you?"
"I don't see myself complaining, besides the food smells heavenly. But it seems you didn't only borrow my kitchen, what are you wearing?"
"Oh this?, I didn't bring anything apart from work clothes so I borrowed some from your closet"
"I know I said make yourself at home, but you're too at home here, and if you're gonna wear my shirt please wear pants too"
"But- none of your shorts or trousers fit me, so I just had to make do with the shirt"
"Fine, do as you please", Rogue sits and start eating.
"So what do you have planned for the day, and of course our next actions concerning the mission?".
"Hmm...I plan on raiding the enemy HQ in three days at Mexico, once we cut the head the body parts shouldn't be able to move is my plan. But first well need to prepare so I plan on making a request to the agency to start the preparations by the end of today. That should do it for our next step towards the mission, and as for how I'll spend the day exactly, of course I'll take it easy and have some fun"
"Fun?!, sorry sir but are you sane?, We've got a Meggaledon level mission on our hands here..."
"So what do you want me to do?, Stress myself out and make mistakes which will lead to failing the mission?. It's only for today, the retrievers should be bringing in new information by the end of today and the real preparations for Mexico will start tomorrow at best. From tomorrow onward will be hell, while today is our only free day since there is nothing much to do. Let's just relax and have fun and you'll feel better especially after last night's action which got you down"
"I'm sorry for insulting attitude, whatever you say boss, so what exactly are we doing for fun?"
"Now you're talking", Rogue answers with a smirk.
For the rest of the day, the two agents continued to play and fool around and Candy started to show that she wasn't as stiff as presumed. After the gaming duel which ended in Rogue's Victory, they proceeded to have a cookout which was followed by an eating competition. Exhausted and stuffed from their activities, the two decided to settle down to just chat about small things over drinks. As they chatted away Candy had began to feel a little more intimate with her boss than before since he'd opened up to her to share some of his personal life with her, but to Rogue this was all necessary to the completion of the mission, by increasing his intimacy with Candy it'll help with better coordination between them but of course he was doing it for the fun too, no dark agent likes having fun than Rogue.
As her plans proceeded smoothly, that woman was starting to enjoy herself, all the years she had sacrificed were going to finally pay. She'd spent four years planning this and she didn't have room for failure nor did she doubt her success. For what they did to her the Dark Agency was going to pay and she was only just beginning... With her manipulative plan, the second underground war was going to take place soon but this time on a much larger scale, the parties involved?, The Dark Agency versus all the other underground groups.
