The 3rd bearer

Long ago, before the crimson god, Joseph, rises from the grave, there were 5 bearers in total.

The first 4 were meant to empower him, while the 5th was meant to free him.

However long before the 3rd bearer was called to the troupe, there was another.

His name was Dylan, an old friend of Joseph from back in his mortal days. An aggressive one he was, with brown hair, green eyes, and a long scar on his eye.

Dylan hated the troupe because we worshipped his old friend, but we still had faith in him

This faith was mid placed

Before he gathered the fifth flame, he betrayed the ritual and tried to enter the masters chamber in order to kill him for good.

But when he tried to strike the masters hanging, sleeping, motionless body, the corpse sprung to life, and summoned the masters nail.

We now knew that not only could the master manipulate corpses , but even his own.

While the fallen bearer was in shock, the dead body struck him down with one swing, cursing him to be in a purgatory.

After that he went to sleep, and the ritual had to be started all over again.

So we waited and waited for someone to struck the lantern and become...
